Seems Like I'm always shopping...

Post by Paulie »

Hi all...
I was noticing this weekend, that it seems like I'm always shopping. I look through the sale inserts in the paper, and when I'm in a store or the mall, I'm always on the lookout for something cute and/or sexy that I may find. I guess it's ok, since you never know what you'll find and when you'll find it. On Saturday, I found some super cute black round toe pumps in my size that were on sale for $11.00!
I was just wondering how many others out there are in a constant shop mode, and has it ever caused any problems for you???
Just a curious mind here..... with a great new pair of heels! :)

She does know, not real supportive, more tolerates it. So, I don't dress completely around her.

Hi Paulie,

Thanks for answering my questions. I would have asked all at once, but you made it fun.

We all tend to go through buying spurts when we start accepting ourselves. So what you are doing is kind of the norm for us. :)

I just wanted to see if you are spending as much time with your wife as you are with yourself buying things or if you're equalizing how much money you spend on yourself as you spend on her? Thinking this way is a good way to keep yourself and spending in check and show your wife how much you love her.

You'll eventually stop doing this, but it's hard to say when.

Good luck!!!! :) Thanks again for playing. I'm sorry if I was a bit too mischievous.

You know the old saying: "When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping!" I like to seek bargins, but nice stuff. One of our sisters, posted an online place that just blew me away with the prices and selections: www.bcoutlet.com It is the Lane Bryant online catalog outlet and the prices are amazing.
That being said there is nothing like the thrill of the hunt!!! Going through rack after rack of blouses, skirts, slacks, etc!!

I like your attitude, Virginia! :P

Don't worry, Beauty... I love to have fun with people myself! That was funny.... you really did have my curiousity up on it. LOL

Anyway, I'm alot like Virginia in the aspect of looking to find a great bargain... I do like to find nicer items at below sale prices. Gives you a thrill on two different levels.

To Beauty:
I do try to balance myself and not go overboard on the spending. I think I do a pretty good job of that, although there were a couple times many years ago that I was alittle bit too much. I can shop and not buy anything and still have fun with that.
As for my wife... we haven't had a very good relationship for a couple years now. Long story.... doesn't really have anything to do with my CDing. I do still respect her by not dressing around her, she just doesn't understand really, and it makes her somewhat uncomfortable.
For her, the comfort in knowing I'm wearing is being sure I'm prob not fooling around with another woman. Strange..... huh?

p.s. - LOVE the new avatar, Beauty!!
