Well the meeting is on!! September 10 @ 4:00pm +/-. I have sent out 24 invitiations. If history is any indictation we will have a somewhat less than that number turn out!
I have put together a buch of handouts, a survey and a list of sites for learning, and shopping and meetings just in case some of the"girls" are new and looking for these items.
Also two of the girls have developed an ID card where they can take your picture and turn it into an ID card that you can carry with you and they can do it within a few minutes. They are going to do it for free for any of the girls that want one here at the meeting.
I sure hope that it goes well!!!
AN INVITATION: I would like to invite and reinvite any of my sisters here that live within a comfortable driving distance to please feel free to attend - all you girls from Northern Virginia and anyone in North Carolina.
Just PM me and I will give you the directions.
I am really looking forward to this and I sure hope we get a good turn out!

Good luck with the meeting, Virginia.

I've been gone so long I really have to go to my wood turners meeting that morning, but I hope I can get away early enough to attend. Provided my wife doesn't mind, as I've been away from her too.

I'll let you know.

Hi, Virginia

I have some friends coming in from out of town, but if their plans fall through, I'll be there for sure!

All the best,
Angie

Hey girls thanks for all your support! I sure hope we have a good turn out. I know what some of our newer sisters who come on this site have and are going through in "finding themselves," and if we can just help one to discover herself, that she is not alone in all this and it is OK to express your feminine side, I will be able to feel that I have accomplished something constructive.
Donna, I have the prettiest calf length green, lined, flowery, silky skirt I can't wait to wear it and probably a white ruffled silk blouse and as a blonde and if I can get my makeup right . Well maybe I won't break the camera. I also have a very expensive pair of 3" heels that will go great with the outfit.
As I also said two of the girls are bringing their ID making equipment and will make ID's on site for free. I've had one for about two years, I think I will get it "upgraded."
Thanks again for your support and interest!
Love ya,
Virginia

Hi Gee, the turners in my area meet in Alexandria.

If you want to PM me your location (city and state), I have a book listing all the turners that belong to the American Association of Woodturners that I could probably give you names of other turners close to you.

Also, for interest, see http://www.woodturner.org

Virginia,

I've discussed with my wife my coming to Roanoke. As it turns out, she has plans to go to Charlottesville with one of her bead working friends, so that frees me up to get to Roanoke. She even suggested I get a hotel room there and return Sunday.

I reckon I can get there and meet the others, and then change there?

Of course that depends on when I get away and the traffic (hopefully lighter than usual due to gas prices). I figure it's a 4 hr drive. Now, what to wear?

I think I know how to get to your house but if you want to PM me the directions, please do. You probably know a better way than Google does

Hi all, we had a great time at Virginia's. I got to meet Virginia and Angie. Gee had to work.

The night before, I packed and checked and added more, not being able to decide what to wear. I got there early, and took for ever to get ready, as usual  Mainly, my truck has no AC, so I took my time too cool off, doing my nails while doing so. Why is it I can do my nails at home in minutes, but try anywhere else and it takes ages and a couple of redos?

Others started showing around 4 pm and later. Good conversation was had by all.

You know, in the fem threads I've always said I didn't display any fem mannerisms, but I felt myself falling into fem mode right off, and kept in character most of the night, until around 9:00 to 9:30 when I stood from sitting on the sofa and fell back on it. LOL It was time to take of the heels, I reckon

I put a not so good picture in the my gallery. http://crossdressers-haven.com/galleria ... 0871&pos=0

Guess you all should have been there to see us in person. Maybe next time?

I had my heels off, Angie was in flats, I'm the same height as Virginia, so you can see, she kept her heels on all night :)
