Hi all,
Darlene,
As you can probably guess, it felt great. I have to admit, though, that I was well on the way to forgetting just how time-consuming the whole process really is. But it felt like I was coming home, so to speak. I'm just hoping it won't be another nine months before I do it again. Next time, I think I'll be enlisting my roommate Marie and our friend Carole to help me co-ordinate my outfits (they're both more than willing). As it is, I just don't know what to wear. I took everything out--my
femme clothing was still mostly in boxes from our move earlier this summer--and piled it on the living room couch, on my bed, on the chairs in the study, on the washer and dryer in the bathroom, and on unopened boxes in the hallway. The place looks like a transvestite war zone.

Today, I have to start putting everything away (in fact, that's what I should be doing as we speak, rather than writing on the forum

) but my room is still too disorganized for me to even access my (still empty) chests of drawers. I'll get to it soon enough. Thanks for asking, Darlene.
Anita,
Yes, the new avatar is from a photo I took two days ago. I did manage to download about 30 pix or so to the computer, of which a half-dozen are good enough for the forum gallery (including one taken as I returned from my "Elizabethan" outing). Thanks for the compliment, by the way. Feedback is always appreciated.
Love,
CJ
