Hi girls, I wanted to report that I made one more step in my dressing. Last weekend I went shopping for jeans. I went to the boys section and choose a few to try on. When I went to try them on I noticed that the one that had the best fit was a size 12 girls that had been put in the boys section by mistake. Well I bought it and now I am walking around wearing girls jeans. I am kind of self consious of it but I love the feeling of getting away with it. As you can see I am still a beginer. I dress up big time in private with my SO but really scared of been seeing in public. So this is progress for me. I am also posting more pictures showing my face but I am still very afraid that someone is going to recognize me. Thank you so much for for been here ! Couldn't have come this far without you !

Hi Maria,
Congrats on getting out and purchasing things for yourself. It's wonderful that you're including Terri(SO) too.

Maria,
You know what we say, "small steps, just small steps!" You are on your way. Remember some of the other little things you can do: A brief walk at night or a drive in the car, then maybe a walk in a local park in the evening. Shoulders back, head-up small steps, and a nice smile! Good luck and keep us posted - there are lots of other things you can do to gradually introduce Maria to others.

Maria, I am so happy for you, it is so fun trying new things fora rush. I had a similair experience at good will , found two pair of girls jeans, but i wanted to try them on , Very girlie jeans, after I was done i opened the door to the drssing room and there was a crowd of people waiting to use the room, young female and male adults, I was watch by a partiuclar male very intenstly, I was in drab. made me a little nervous. But I smiled and pruchased them with him at another counter making his purchase. Whew! just a little nervous. Congratulation on your jeans, my favorite girls clothes. Keep smilin, keep postin and keep dressin. ...Kristen
