Imagination...Blessing or curse?

Post by Jeannie »

Hello ladies. Last night I was speaking to to another gal about group meetings I asked if she dressed for it. She said that she does dress to and from. With my luck I can picture what would happen.
I would spend 1 1/2 hours getting all dolled up, jump in my car and start driving. Half way there I would be stopped by a Stae Trooper for speeding. The next thing you know I'm at police headquarters being booked.
The next morning in my hometown paper the headline reads"City crossdressing printer held without bond" I end up in court the next week and the Judge(a man) says "Please stand Jeannie. You have been charged with a most seriuos offense. DWD-DRIVING WHILE DRESSED If found guilty of the charges I'm forced to impose the mandatiry sentence of life in the closet" I glance over at the jury who are all men. .I say to myself"Jeannie girl start packing. I hope prison blues come in pink!"
To my surprise the jury finds me not guilty. As I'm leaving the courtroom I pass the jury and overhear the jury forman say"OK ladies, what color panties do we all have on today? I'm being naughty and going commando" OK jeannie! Talk about a stacked jury!
Such a relief. All I could think about was the words to a Paul Simon song. "Well I would not be convicted by a jury of my peers, still crazy after all these years...OOOOOOH still crazy after all....these....years. Have a great day ladies. Hugs and Kisses!

Well Jeannie,
I have been stopped for speeding 32 in a 25 at 10:30 at night. Cute little county cop! He walked up to the car, "Ma.mam, may I have your license?" I did not even look up, handed him the license, he did a triple take and finally shined his big, bad flashlight on me and all I said was, "don't even ask!" He wrote te ticket and I was gone! I started to go to court (en drab) and contest it by asking if he saw the lady in court that he gave the ticket to? but decided my time was more valuable. I went to a movie, by myself on evening and there was a good looking young cop there, I guess for crowd control as it was a very busy night. He actually opened the door for me and said. "Good evening, honey!" (Honey??? -yes) I just smiled, nodded and walked in! So it is possible to have "run-ins" with Johnny Law! They have been trained - usually- then again we are not breaking any known laws, at least were I am from, as in the state of Virginia!

I have been stopped on many occasions and nothing was said. I have even worked with Police in my job dressed at night.they thought it funny that a wrecker driver would dress this way but I do so more often than not. Of course my job knows I dress and have no problem with it at night but doesn't want me to dress during the day.

It's a pretty good fantasy.

A traffic stop is one thing. DUI and the like another. A night in jail is no fun no matter how you are dressed. So be good at the meeting.

The only people who would ask whether imagination is a blessing or a curse are people with abundant imagination  .

I was stopped once for going straight where I should have turned left. Now that is something for this old liberal. I find it kind of funny now although at the time it was a bit scary. But the cop was cool I asked if he would like to attend one of the local support group meetings. He said no but that had traiing in diversity. I did get a ticket and had to goto drivig school for 3 nights.
I was in drab for the driving school. I lacked the nerve to go dressed. Sallee
