My wife brought me a skirt last weekend and I love it. I am starting to cross dress more than I ever though I would.

Sometimes a skirt is much more comfortable for me than pants

I just looked through my skirts and was surprised that I have about a dozen. I agree that they are MY favorite also. :)

Isn't that funny, Carol....

I also have quite a few skirts... they are prob my favorite thing to wear. I haven't counted mine, but I would have to say at least 20. And those times you're looking for something to wear... you come across one you forgot you had!

"Oh, I forgot I even had this!"

Currently, I have skirts of various cuts, fabrics and color and prints.
What is enjoyable is have multiple tops to go with the skirts including, bouses and sweaters.

Skirts are my favorite as there is so much that one can do with them.
I also find that they are more comfortable to wear easier to coordinate accessories. Dresses I find limit the time of day and also the place where I want to venture out. With skirts, I can do it at all hours and not be limited by event. Slacks or pants I tend to shy away from as I have plenty in the form of my dockers and suits.
During the summer month however, I nice fitting pairs of shorts that are enjoyable. The womans cut I find to very relaxing and the fabric is less ridgid than male shorts and the colors more pleasing.

Like you Paulie, I have a lot more than I realized. When I first started buying femme clothes, that's all I seemed to be buying. That, an the odd pair of pantyhose. It never occured to me that I might need the occasional top. #-o ( I was dressing at home so it wasn't a big deal). It wasn't until I was ready to go out for the first time that I realized I would need something else to wear up top. Hmm, time to go out and buy some, methinks! Apart from liking skirts so much, I actually find them easier to buy as sizes seem much simpler than the crapshoot for anything else. [-o<

I, too, have several skirts of varying styles but I rarely have an opportunity to wear them. While my mother knows of my CDing and is OK with it, she has requested not to see me in a skirt or dress. So I only get to wear one on the rare occasion that she is out of the house.

And, like the rest of you, I find skirts to be very comfortable. I also prefer a skirt and top instead of a dress. I am much larger in the chest and shoulders than in the waist and hips. If I find a dress that fits up top then it hangs like a limp sack down below. It's much easier to find a good fitting top and pair it up with a proper fitting skirt.

Love,
Kathy
