Well after my workout today, I came home put Virginia's pert little butt in a nice hot bath with bath oil and soaked, it felt wonderful! Got out, dressed in a cream colored turtle neck sweater and my green knit skirt, got in my vehicle and took a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway, missed the colors by just ...............that much!!! But it was great to get out, It hit 70 here in Roanoke this afternoon. Stopped by my friend Brandi's house to try and cheer her up, drove home through the middle of downtown, waved to several of my neighbors on my way home. I can hear them now, "Who was that blonde driving the neighbors truck!?"
Anyway, it is still a "rush" to get out and be seen!
I love it !!!!!

Virginia:
You hit the nail on the head with the comment, "It is still such a rush".
The feeling that I get is one of relaxation. I always enjoy the feeling.
I have never drive that area of the country but have heard that the views are fantastic.. When I drive to Fla next time, I usually go south on I-95..
Where do I pick up the Blue Ridge Parkway and where does it end?
Please let me know.
Thanks

Hi Stephanie,
Yes the views from the Parkway are beautiful. There are actually two parts to it. Part one can be picked up in Front Royal, Virginia and their is a fee, it use to be $12.00 from there to I-66 (Charlottesville/Staunton) from there to Asheville, North Carolina is free with lots of overlooks, camp grounds and water falls and so forth. It actually ends in the Great Smokie Mountain. Good, bad or indifferent, the speed limit is 45MPH and it is STRICTLY enforced so if you have the time it is soooo relaxing, but if you are in a hurry this is not the route to take.
Try BlueRidgeParkway.org or com. and they have maps and miles etc.
If you do drive it en femme. and stop at an overlook just be aware of who is around you. A pretty girl alone at an overlook in the middle of nowhere, well you get the idea!
Love,
Virginia

Glad you had a relaxing outing Virginia, after recent events it sounds like you needed one.
My wife and I went to a bead show in MD yesterday. I wore a Bordeaux colored blouse and a lace cami of near similar color underneath. My wife was worried initially, but soon forgot about it especially since no one appeared to notice. Later we went to a restaurant for super and again, no one paid any attention. I knew they wouldn't, even thought the color is definitely fem, it has large buttons and has shoulder pads.
Today we worked on the shed some more, finished the roofing, put primer on the siding, and added some blue paint. Still a ways to go til done, but it's getting there.
