shopping with wife

While visiting relatives this holiday it turned out that next door to our hotel there was a huge lingerie store. My wife and daughters went and I kept them company for awhile. Lots of interesting stuff by Bare NEccesities and the like. Not much sexy stuff, just work a day lingerie and sleepware with a little corner for mens stuff too.

So I hung around for awhile talking with my wife about pajamas for the kids and so forth. All she knows is that I really like lingerie, not that I wear it many days when noone is home. Then I left out of deference to the kids sensitivies-what teenage girl wants to try on bras with her dad around? But it was a lot of fun.

Got home and today when everyone was gone tried on my wifes stuff. Yes I know this is invasive and thoughtless without permission. Even allowing for it being the wrong size they have got to be the most comfortable bras and slips I have ever worn. Barlely there microfiber slip and Playtex thank goodness it fits bras. So I just ordered myself some in the right sizes.

They feel so comfortable that it is easy to forget they are there. Not exactly what we CD's are always after but it appeals to me. And GG's may be interested too.

After they get here I may wind up throwing a lot of other stuff away as obsolete.

Hi Andrea,

I'm glad you put the blurb in about it being "not right". At least you're thinking that. Some people just justify it.

Anyway, my question is are you saying you're going to throw out your own stuff for this new material? It feels that good?

Yes Gracie. I am not going to go around throwing out my wifes clothes

LOL!

!!tongue!!

That's not what I meant. I was asking if you thought those things felt so nice that you are only going to buy that material. As in, "Does it really feel that good."

Not neccesarily although I have been trending towards microfibers and cottons and away from the satin and silk stuff for quite a while.

Over the last couple of years I have acquired about 10 bras, half of which I wear a lot and the other half of which I don't wear much at all because they are less comfortable. But I have kept them for variety. With the increased number it may be time to clean house. Likewise some of the slips and a few tops.

After I dropped the kids off and came home I had that classic dilemma of what shall I wear today. I probably have as many female clothes as I do male clothes at this point but somehow the lack of variety combined with the overabundance of choices (not sure how this happens) doesn't bother me there. Guys have it so easy. With womens clothes so much more attention needs to be paid to ambiance. Like this top is too casual for that skirt. And do the colors clash. Something I can forget about with guys clothes for the most part.

Back to shopping. My daughters were a bit surprised when I said I enjoy shopping witht their mom for these things. I just said that a lot of men do. Something I didn't realize till a couple of years ago when I realized that in VS half the people there seem to be men with a lady companion. Or the naughty lingerie store where most of the clientel is usually men, there for whatever reason.

I have mostly microfiber bras and panties.
The feel is nicer and also, when they are laundered, they retain their shape and form. I find that they do not streach out as much as I had origionally thought. I have found that the panties are most comfortable and affort a little slendering and that the bras hold my forms in place better and provide for a little bounce.

My wife and I are going shopping tomorrow. It's her idea. She wants to get some things for herself and would like some company. She suggested that they may have some things in my size. Tomorrow should be a good day.
