How do you dress when you go out?

Hello all.

For those of you going out... how do you dress when you go out?

I know that there are many options. It depends on where do you go out to, etc.

Personally, I dress trying to pass. So, I try to wear what other women would wear to the same place/time. Yes, it is really nice to be dressed to the nines, but not very passable if you are going to Walmart to get some groceries.

I don't understand (but I respect) those who would go out and try to shock people with the way they look. To each, her own.

So, how do you dress when you go out?

Hi Gaby,

I tend to go out dressed to the occassion. I'd say over 90% of the time I'm going out to go to a support meeting, so I dress casually.

I haven't ever been out in a short skirt, but I do usually wear heels.

This year I've tried to fill my wardrobe with things that I see on sale and newer fall fashions. I've purchased two dresses from e-bay, but I'm trying to stay in fashions that are in style. To do this I had to :: sniff, sniff :: lose weight. I'm now cleared to wear a Large(14).

I miss eating as much as I want to. It's an adult's right!!! I waited my whole life to be able to eat when I want and what I want, but noooo. lol

Anyway back to dressing. I agree with you. I've always loved the outfits you've worn in your pictures Gaby!

I also don't like it when I see fellow CDs who wear the shortest skirts with the highest heels in impractical situations. If you want to turn on your lover, then ok, wear that to the nines! Same thing with going out to a club. Dress how you want to, but if you're going to the store to buy a grapefruit, then that's another story.

I try to pass and blend with those that may see me. As yet I do not have the courage to get real close to people. I guess I should worry to much about it, the only time a man got real close to me he called me "mam".

I really like white blouses that are thin enough the bra shows in the back. With the white blouse I wear a black skirt consertive length with pantyhose and low heels and full make up.

I never realized it until you just wrote that, but I also like being able to see the hint of a bra through a white blouse on a GG. It's a very provocative and classy look. Hmmmm?

It's also very nice someone got so close and called you "ma'am" How very flattering!!
