How many of us continue to wear pantyhose in summer? I have been wearing hose for about a year and wear them under my nurse's uniform at work. Even though they can be hot sometimes, I like the feel they give my legs with having to be on my feet all day.

I almost always wear pantyhose whenever I am wearing high heels, no matter the time of year - I, too, love the feel of them!

Living here in FL, it gets really hot in the summer - but I'll still wear pantyhose with my heels, as they 'dress up' whatever skirts, skorts, or dress that I am wearing!

When I dress enfemme I will, but not under my trousers at other times.

I usually don't wear pantyhose in the summer. You have to let "the boys" have a little air you know! If you worry about veins get some self tanner or leg make up. One very good product is Perfection by Sally Hansen you can get at any Walgreens or Rite-Aid. It's a spray and on the can it say's"Bare legs...only better. It's like pantyhose in a can" The only time you get a run is if you spray too much on! Get those stems out in the summer sun ladies! It also works wonders if you are wearing something low cut and it gives a bit of color to your upper chest. Hugs

Being an athlete, I wear them under my jeans or any long pants I have on when "en drab." They make my legs recover much more quickly from working out. I have also found out that wearing heels, around 3" or so will definitely help sore backs. In fact one of the recent "Ladies" magazines had an article about gyms now offering group aerobics done in high heels. Works for this girl!!!

For me it depends on how dressy an occasion is or the venue of where I go. In the goth/punk scene, a lot of women wear either fishnets, thigh highs or leggings no matter what time of year.

Depends on how hot it is. On a really hot day I wear as little as legally possible.

I rarely... if ever... wear pantyhose anymore. Got hooked on thigh high stockings.

If I'm dressing up in skirt/dress and heels, I always wear stockings regardless of the temp. Just looks more finished and of course you have to love the feel.

But, I do agree with Jeannie about getting some sun. Lately on the weekends I've been out in my shorts just letting my legs get some tanning!
