Waxed brows

I attended the NW Folklife Festival in Seattle this past weekend en femme, and had a blast. Feeling comfortable in my clothes, I decided to stop at a mall on the way home and have a demo of eye makeup, which went quite well (of course, I bought the products she used). She mentioned I should really get my eyebrows trimmed and told me of a place nearby where I could have them waxed. She said once you do it the first time, you'll probably want to do it again every now and then. I thought, what the heck. So off I went.
The procedure was relatively painless-- she had me lie down and close my eyes. Then I felt a warm pressure as she applied the wax (I assume) outlining the shape she was trying to achieve. This was followed by some more pressure as some kind of tape or something was pressed onto the wax, then a quick rrrriiiiipppp-- a brief pain, but not too sharp, as the hair came off. Then she repeated these steps along the other contours. Next was tweezing of the strays, which was more painful, but still bearable. Finally, she finished off with a comb and scissors.
When I looked at myself afterwards, I was really pleased. Gone was the Andy Rooney look, and in its place was a nicely groomed look-- a very slight arch and narrower band of hair, but not too extreme-- just neater. I could go for this en drab, too-- really.
