Weekend Trip

:-k Well, I'll be going to WV this weekend for a boy scout reunion. I won't be able to leave until late tonight, and it's a 5.5 to 6 hour drive.

Right now I'm thinking of stopping in Richmond for a few hours to drop by Fielden's. I usually stay at a hotel and change to go there enfemme. Then go back to the hotel, change back, stay the night and head home next morning.

Since I'm not grabbing a hotel, I'm thinking of driving down enfemme, and the driving to WV later on, enfemme. That will deffinitely be a first, especially going through the toll booth north of Beckley, WV.

Of course, somewhere along the way I'll have to change back to drab, as one brother from FL will be in and one brother lives at home with my Mom.

Well, that's the plan at the moment.

I hope you have a great trip, Donna - and don't get those truckers too excited while driving en femme and cause them to have an accident! :P

Have a great reunion - with both the Boy Scouts and your family!!

Well, I drove down to Richmond, enfemme, and got to the club as planned just after opening at midnight. There was supposed to be a pre-party" for the event happening on Sat evening, but the place was dead. I waited a while and watched the last part of Transamerica while sitting at the bar sipping a bottled water.

Decided around 1:15 am that it was time to head on to WV and ran into one of the girls upstairs just coming in, said hi and bye.

Stopped along I81 to fill the car up and next stopped just inside WV at the rest stop on I64. Used the ladies, another first. Counted 13 deer out alongside the Interstates, one crossed in front of me. Kept me alert for the whole trip, I guarantee.

Figured I'd stop at a convenience stop along the WV Turnpike, 2 miles from my exit, to change in the car, but the parking lot was too well lit and too many cars. So I kept going to the exit. No reaction from the guy in the toll booth near Beckley, however.

The exit I take is very dark and there's a convenient spot to pull off without bother. Changed there and cleaned off the makeup. Thank goodness for Albolene, just coat the face with this goop, wait a few seconds, then wipe off with an old towel. No more makeup, no need for water.

Got to my mom's house around 6:30 am, used my key to get in and took everything to my room. Heck, I could have gone the whole trip dressed, no one stirred when I arrived [-X

I set my alarm but ended up staying awake until around 11pm.

The reunion was pretty cool. Our former troop leader had just turned 80, so the reunion was set up as a surprise for him, which it was. And I wasn't the only one who put on a bit of extra weight.

One of my best friends came up and asked "What the hell are those things in your ears?" I replied, "Pretty aren't they?!" :P No one else mentioned them.

When I was preparing to leave on Sunday, I had a sharp muscle spasm in my back around the left ribs, so It delayed be a few minutes. I ran into the grocery on the way out of town and picked up some Ibuprofen.

Good thing too, because, back out on the Turnpike a truck in the northbound lanes hit the Jersey Wall knocking a big chunk of concrete into my lane sometime not long before I got there, and a couple of cars had already hit it and destroyed the undercarriage of their cars. It was in a blind curve, but I manage to swerve around it. Had I got there any sooner, who knows?

Got back to just north of Fredricksburg and the traffic was stopped on I95, 16 miles from my exit. Pretty normal for a Sunday. So I took Route 1 instead and got home without further incident.

Wanted to add, that a trip that long in a skirt, well I started feeling the hem under my thighs. Not very comfortable in the long run

Hi Donna,
I'll bet you were glad to get home. Vacation trips, even short ones, can be so tiring. I remember all the deer that I saw while on my way to Virginia the last time I was down there in that part of the country (2003). Want a real scary experience, try hitting a moose sometime, about like hitting a moo-cow I would imaging.
Welcome back.
With warm wishes,
Rose

Glad you had a nice trip and by chance avoided the accident. Hope the muscle cramp is better too.
