Discovering YouTube

I've just discovered how to 'work' YouTube.
This seems to me to be the greatest thing for CDs ever. I posted under the tags 'crossdresser' and 'transvestite' I'm still experimenting with my little Canon digital camera, which takes videos also. The colour temperature of artificial light seems to be a problem. Perhaps a blue filter can be attached to the camera ,or the colour balance adjusted.

I've posted a video of myself modelling a full skirted , I suppose you could say, 'Little Girl' dress, which I cut down from a wedding dress. It's titled, 'Michelle playing in sissy little girl dress'.

'rikkir' suggested I post a link here, and here it is

BTW, I said to my wife, after a 3 day marathon at the sewing machine 'Isn't it the cutest dress you've ever seen' (not modelling it, though- no way), and she retorted that ,'It would be cute on an eight year old for her First Communion'. Still, I guess she's right, bless her little heart.

Michelle,

That's a really cute dress. You are a talented and determined seamstress!

You may want to check your camera manual for changing white balance settings, or use a video editing program for color correction.

Thanks, girls, for the advice.

I sometimes need a little positive feedback on my dresses. I don't think my wife would be so against my dressing if I just dressed like a 'normal' woman.
She is a fairly plain dresser herself; a tweed skirt is about the most feminine thing she wears. And me mincing around like a little girl in a fluffy sissy dress is just a little too much (I don't ever do it in front of her, mind you).
Becky, are you on Broadband? Or perhaps you have an older computer with not enough memory.

Thanks, Jadeanne, for the advice on the camera.Unfortunately, I don't have a video editing programme.

Now, if I can just make sense out of that %#@* camera manual about white balance without being referred back to a page where I'm referred to another page, then to another page ad nauseum,I'll be O.K.

I find sunlight through the window best, but that means I have to wait till the house is empty and I can use our bedroom, before I can 'do my stuff'.
But It's far more likely that I am able to perform late at night, or very early in the morning.
But anyway, at least for a while, til I run out of moves, I'm going to swish my stuff till I wear my camera (or myself) out.

Love Michelle

Michelle,
The white balance looks OK to me. Adding more light will help the camera to adjust automatically.

My wifey would probably feel the same about my choice of styles. Wish I had your figure (Dee's heard that before). Maybe a New Year's resolution is in order.

Can't wait to see another pretty dress of yours with lots of crinolines!!

Felllow petticoat lover,

Thanks, Rikki, for your kind comments. I find it amazing the way groups of us have very similar 'kinks'. What is it that makes us so nuts about dressing as sissy and frilly as possible? Have we all had similar experiences in the deep past? or do we have a collective conscience? Who knows?

Anyhow, I'm just itching to do some more videos, but there is a bit of a problem just now. It's Summer in Oz and it gets quite hot and humid, and it's often not fun wearing lots of frilly undies, stockings, petticoats, wigs and the like, even for a few minutes. And I must be having fun to do stuff like that.
Occasionally, if we have a coolish day and a clear night, the temperature drops down to about 14- 16C in the early morning, and that's what I wait for.

But I lie awake half the night waiting for the right time, and I'm buggered the next day. But it's a very small price to pay for such ecstasy.

Another problem I've thought of (aren't I a negative bugger), is, after the first couple of videos, what do you do? I mean, I've seen some people do extraordinary things, but after you swish around, show your good side, jiggle and sashay around, what next?

Do other Cd's want to see more variations of the same, just with different outfits? I hope so, because I can't dance and sing or do amazing things with ping-pong balls. I do have some ideas, some a little more 'risque', but never coarse.

Anyhow, that's enough waffling on.
Have a great CDing New Year everyone.

Hugs, Michelle

Snow here, want some?

Anyway, you're right about what to do on camera. But please, be nice, be a lady. If someone could do the camera for you it could be fun. Different short shots at various angles and locations would be fun.

Check out Pettilady on youtube, maybe you could sing for us. :)

You poufbunny friend,
Rikki

YouTube is an interesting phenomenon to be sure. I decided to have a bit of fun with it while out of commission from a female perspective. Winter is the season in which I let the beard grow out for a few months at my SO's request. It's the least I can do since she is so supportive of my other side the rest of the year.

Here's the link to the results:

Ho. Angie,
Just saw your video. Pretty good. Liked the dissolve to 'femme.' You must have some good editing software.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but you look so much better as a woman ( from your avatar). I wouldn't have known it was the same person. Isn't it nice to see how cute we look when compared to our usual male persona?
Kind of liked the 'glitches' your device made, but next time , could we see it working perfectly , with you becoming your usual 'perfect' woman.

Hi, Michelle

No offense taken here, I much prefer my female appearance! My male persona is different in physical sense (especially now), but probably more so in actions and the general way I interact with others.

Since I'm "stuck" in male mode for the next couple of months, I figured I needed to make the best of it. I've been using YouTube as a means of performing "lectures" for a computer course I'm teaching online. While editing some of the videos, the idea came to me to play around with a few of the special effect functions that I had not used before.

Since my SO and her daughter love to give me good natured grief about my breast forms, I thought I would provide them with some amusement. The main thing I wanted to convey to our forum is that while being TG can take an emotional toll at times, there are moments when we just need to step back and have a look at the lighter side. Kinda of a "laugh and the world laughs with you" sort of thing.

And yes, I think my next transformation will be back to the real Angie. It can't happen soon enough.

Take Care :)
Angie
