Well, ladies, as you may or may not know the "Diva Las Vegas" runs from April 23 - 29! Virginia and her SO will be there! We have committed to the airline, the hotel and the car...........................AND we have scheduled our COMMITTMENT CEREMONY! for Thursday afternoon April 26, at 2:00 pm at the "Little Chapel at Viva Las Vegas!" Now, we are selling tickets to the first 25 people as 25 is all the chapel will accomodate. Tickets go on sale tonight for $2,500.00 each so it's first come first served - well we have to pay for the trip some way!!!! Too high - huh?
Well, how about free!
The service will last about 15 minutes and we have the chapel for a total of thirty minutes. We will both write our own vows, too!!! It will be interesting to see if anyone shows up as we will publish the event with DLV and that it will be open to the first and only 25 people that wish to attend.
I have not posted yet about SL's gown, but the gown and the story that goes with it - well, there was a lot of crying, tears of joy - It is a true fairy princess gown. The detail is unbelieveable, the white satin, intricate bead work and the train and the embossed satin and intricate lace and veil and rhinestones. I have to tell you, here we were in a dressing room, the two of us with a shopping cart and SL and I trying to get that gown on her and all buttoned and zipped and when she turned around and we both saw her reflection in the mirror well, we both simultaneously started crying, I mean she looked just like a fairy princess had stepped right out of a story book, absolutely beautiful!!!!!
We cried even more when we got it home and had room to lay out the train and see all the detail work in the dress, just unbelieveably beautiful!
We have not decided how to get it to Vegas yet, but will probably ship it out to the hotel ahead of time.
Virginia's outfit? Well, we are still looking. I have a ?sea mist? green dress right now, but it is only if I can't find a gown by then!!!
We will keep you posted as this get closer, we are so excited and are so looking forward to this!
Love,
Virginia
