A night out!

Last night my wife and I went into the city. a little shopping, a nice dinner and the theater -- so I dressed up a bit.

Took advantage of my piercxed ears for the first ime wearing dangling sparkling earrings, black flippy skirt, very dressy (beaded) heels, black cami with a black and silver glittery sweater. It was a lot of fun.

I had to take the train to meet up with the wife. so I am standing at the station and another woman starts chatting with me. Loved my shoes, wondering about taking the train (her first time), where was I going downtown all dressed up...then had a typical chat about clothes , shopping. When we got on the train told me she hoped me and my husband would enjoy our night out ((i have an cubic z wedding ring set that stormy bought me). That was very cool! 8)

We did a little shopping, had a wonderful dinner, then saw Legends with Joan Collins and Linda Evans -- thus the great excuse to dress up. The two stars were not good (very wooden) but the supporting cast was very good.

all in all a very good night. Stormy told me I looked very nice  and all of my encounters were positive. Everyone accepted me as I was presented...still getting used to having the door held open for me, being called ma'am, etc, but I had a blast!!

Next stop Vegas!!

We are going next week, and I am spending one day/night dressed --shopping and playing in Vegas!

Missy, You done good!!! Now I don't want to burst your bubble, but..... not until a gg(s) start talking to you about their period or their pregnancy out of the blue so to speak, then you have arrived. I had a friend who was in the throws of transitioning and began chatting with a girl and the girl began telling her how bad she was cramping from her period and asking my friend if she happen to have any Midol. That is when you know you are passing!!
It is great, though, to get out like that, dressed, and just enjoy yourself! Hope you do it again and again.
SL and I wanted to go see "Celtic Woman" but waited too long to get tickets so we could not get seats together and four weeks out from the show they only had like eight left and they were scattered all over. Anyway, I drove by the civic center the night of the concert and saw several ladies going in wearing nice long gowns and decided - next time we will get tickets as soon as they are available.
Keep the faith, Missy,
Love,
Virginia

LOL Virginia - I'm 54 years old and would be horrified if a stranger wanted to talk to me about anybody's period or pregnancy!! Yeeesh!! You have to remember yankee's rarely talk about such things to people they don't know......now at a slumber party with your closest friends - anything and everything is discussed.....still giggling here. AND I don't share my good drugs with anybody!! hehehe

Love you,
Stormy

Stormy, are you sure, we have to keep an eye on Jeannie sometimes! I don't know if Gary is sharing his stuff with her or not, but sometimes she seems all too happy!!!!
Love ya,
Virginia
