Now I can laugh.

I don't know if this would be classified as "Fun stuff" but I remembered an incident from years ago that I made me laugh out loud like an idiot.
I was separated/divorced and living back at mom's house. I had been out drinking with a couple of friends and when I got home I found that my inhibitions had been lowered and my sense of adventure was peaking.
I got dressed in a pair of my cousins (GG) tight jordache jeans, a bra and some loafers, "borrowed" my mom's car and with my bra stuffed with two potatoes took a ride on the expressway. I was feeling really nice just being out and dressed. I'm not sure why but suddenly a
highway patrol car came up behind me ,put on his lights and pulled me over. I was scared s***less! I stashed the potatoes under the seat and waited. One officer came up to my window, took one look and told me to get out of the car. I tried to cover up as much as I could but my bra was clearly visable through my shirt and the jeans were just perfect for my backside. They made me stand behind the car while they checked out the plates. I had no wallet so no license, I didn't have the regie or the insurance caed. I thought my life was about to end. The officer got out of his car and handed me a bunch of tickets and told me if I just show the right paperwork at DMV the tickets will be squashed. I know they were both snickering as I drove away but I was so relieved to get out of there I didn't care. I went straight home and to bed.
A few days later I was at work. I worked at a major bridge at the time and it was common place for the highway patrol to stop by and eat their lunch or have coffee. Well, you guessed it. I was in the kitchen and didn't see them when they came in but they saw me. When I realized who they were I almost fainted. The one that had given me the tickets looked at me and just smiled. I know I turned ten shades of red but I just pretended that nothing had ever happened. I got to know these guys over the years but my 15 minutes of fame was never mentioned. They turned out to be okay.
So, who else has a "horror" story that they can laugh at now?
