Careful of the medians in the road when driving at night, they are not very high and not painted, which makes them hard to see.
You do not have to dress enfemme.
Any questions, PM me.

Gheesh, Donna, according to Virginia I was only trying out my new Jeep 4x4!!
::HMPH::

Well, that's our story and we're sticking to it!!
We're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night, girlfriend! Virginia and I will be getting together with S. Lisa earlier for some shopping, and plans are to have dinner at
Godfrey's before heading to Fielden's. You know where we'll be staying, and you can crash on the sofabed before heading back home, if you wish!
Love ya, girlfriend!!

Thanks for the offer, but I would like to keep y'all as friends. I think my snoring would put a strain on that
Well, I told my wife today I was going. I was holding back for the following reason.
She has been under a bit of stress about her job the last two weeks. Seems she was going to lose hers, as the contractor she worked for lost the contract. She sent a resume to the new contractor, so she could keep on doing what she had been. Rumors were to the affect she'd have to take a $20K pay-cut. So, more worry.
She got an offer last Friday. A pay increase with a $2K signing bonus.
That changed Monday. The new company had been shadowing the current workers. They were so impressed with her, they wanted her to take over lead, her current supervisor's job.
Before they could discuss a higher salary, a third contractor called foul on the awarding of the contract to the other company.
So she's still working for the original contractor.
However, there's another contractor wants her, and is trying to work out an offer her a job possibly at an even higher salary, but there's not been a guarantee of that yet.
So, since she's still working, and not so upset over the recent events, when she told me she'd be on call this weekend, I let her know I'd be in Richmond Friday night.

Hey, Its 8:30pm and I have to start packing! Something to wear to Richmond tomorrow, I want to go to Macy's and pick up this new eye shadow I saw in "Vogue" It is by Shiseido and the purple over green on the model is so sexy. Our local Macy's does not carry it but the one in Richmond does! Yes, it is expensive for eye shadow! $23.00 but I'm worth it!!!! Then we are going to change and redress for dinner then come back to the hotel and redress for Fielden's then I have to have something to wear home, let's see, that's that's a minimum of four outfits, plus I will need a couple of alternates to choose from. One night and six outfits - Ain't it great!!??? I love it!
Well off to the world of packing!!!
Love you all!

As I mentioned over in the Easter thread, I plan on going to WV this weekend to see my mom.
Since it's the first Friday of April, I reckon I'll dress and stop by the club on the way.
Next weekend is the TG Pride dinner at the club. The cost of the dinner is $20 per person and must be paid for in advance no later than April 9th.

Virginia and I will be at Fielden's for TGIIF and for the TG Pride next weekend, also. Virginia will also be going to the James River TG Support Meeting on Friday, before TGIIF - she's interested in seeing what it's all about.
Donna, we're looking forward to seeing you again - - and hopefully S. Lisa will make an appearance, too?!?

Hey, Lisa - it definitely won't be "too warm" this Friday, so we do hope you can come up for the evening. You'll be able to make it back home in time to catch a wave or two on Saturday morning!!
Anyone that would like to come to either event is more than welcome - and can contact either Donna, Virginia, or myself for more information.
Love & Hugs!

Unfortunately I am going to have to take a pass on this weekend. It sounds like a good time and I would highly recommend that anyone who is able to go to Richmond do so. It was a blast meeting Virginia and SL. Sorry I won't be able to make it.

We certainly had a blast with you, too - and we're looking forward to getting together again, when/where ever that may be - who knows, we just may appear on your doorstep when you least expect us!
Seriously, though - we do hope that you will try to attend the TG Pride at Fielden's on April 13th? I know the dinner is $20/person, and is supposed to be prepaid by the 9th. I'm fairly sure that you don't need to attend the dinner to participate with the TG Pride event itself, but Donna would have more information than I.
Love ya, girlfriend!!

I left the club in Richmond around 2 am Sat. morning, heading to WV to visit my mom.
So, there I was heading west on I-64 and the snow was heading east. Hard to see and hoping the deer decided not to play in the snow. I thinking maybe I should have changed to drab mode before heading off.
Got to near Staunton and pulled off to get gas and use the restroom. The snow had got worse by then, and the temperature gauge on the car said it was well below freezing.
There was a Days Inn nearby, and I thought about stopping. However, being my stubborn self I figured it was only a few more miles to I-81, and I could stop there if necessary. Got there and there wasn't a bit of snow.
Now I'm driving merrily along, but as I near WV again on I-64, it starts to snow again. So I stopped at the first rest stop in WV and changed.
After a while the WV roads got bad, down to one lane and sometimes no lane. It was a good thing my wife talked me into driving the Avalon instead of my truck. The traction light came on once going up Sandstone Mountain (5 to 7 % grade for several miles), where I passed one minivan stuck in the middle lane due to the icy spot they'd found.
Only saw one accident where a car ran off the road, no visible damage.
Arrived at my mom's around 7:45.

Hey, Donna -
Glad to hear you made it safely to WV, and I hope you had an enjoyable holiday with your family?
We awoke Saturday morning to a bit of slushy snow on the car and in the parking lot of the hotel, but it had all melted before we were ready to leave. It was about 12noon when we were on our way home from Richmond, and we had good weather despite the cold temperatures.
We're looking forward to seeing you again at Fielden's this Friday for the TG Pride Dinner, and maybe this time you'll let me win a game of pool?!?
Love ya, girlfriend!!

Love ya,
Virginia

Let me remind you, honey, that you won the first game, and I believe Donna won the next two games? I have yet to win a game of pool against the two of you - now I think that means ya'll are ganging up on me!
::hmph:: It's not nice to gang up on the SA, you know!!
Love ya both - and looking forward to Friday night!!

I did try to point you to certain shots, SL.
I put one of my dresses in the cleaners this morning, as it was a tad wrinkled since the last time I wore in 2004.
Still not sure if I'm going to make the dinner. My wife was a tad upset about it. I told her I wouldn't go if she didn't want me to. She has not yet said yes or no.
