So, my fiancee and I are planning a trip to Vegas, not any time soon. Can anyone provide any insight on good places to stay, places to go out en femme, etc.? Any information would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!

Google for "Diva Las Vegas" and you'll find everything you could want.
You might also PM (private message) Nora on this forum, she lives in Vegas.

Ami, I have been going to Vegas since I was 9 years old (back then I would visit with the grandparents, who now live there, when they used to drive out of NY for the winters) so I know a little about the city and their is a whole lot to do in the there.

One of the big events related to our group is DLV that is the last week of April. If you want some more info on it I can send it to you as they now have an open registration for the event.

Hi Ami,
Guess we will find out if their slogan is true, but then again SL and I don't really care if "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!"
We are going out for the Diva Las Vegas in April. It is the 23rd of April through the 28th. It's pretty cool, they have very little scheduled activities. Tuesday there will be a boat cruise and Thursday night they rent a bunch of limo's and cruise around and they have something called "The Night of the Soiled Doves" and I won't even begin to describe that.
Oh, then again SL and I are having our "Committment Ceremony" Thursday afternoon at 2:00pm at the Viva Las Vegas's Little Chapel. She is wearing a beyond-description fairy princess wedding gown and I am wearing (probably) the white dress shown in the "Photo Gallery."
As has been stated you may want to check out the website Diva Las Vegas.
One other hint is check out "Hotwire.com" and click on the package deals for air, hotel and car combined. We got one heck of a deal!
Let us know what you decide.
Love,
Virginia

Hi, Ami -

You can check out Diva Las Vegas here for more information. There is no registration fee, although you do need to register; everything is a la carte and any fees are paid directly to the providers for their services, such as the boat cruise, golf on Wednesday, meals, etc.

Of course, anyone from the forum and the DLV that would like to attend our Committment Ceremony is more than welcome, although we are limited to 25 or so guests. We will have the "reception" the following night at the Bahama Breeze restaurant - a scheduled dinner for the DLV.

We hope to see you and the fiance in Vegas!!

LOL - stay where you can afford to stay, eat where you can afford to eat and gamble where you can afford to gamble!!

Missy and I stayed at the Flamingo and did alot of gambling at O'Shea's. However we had dinner at Aureole at Mandalay Bay for our 9th wedding anniversary and we say Cirque's Love show at the Mirage. I had to say hey to the Lions at the MGM....we forgot to walk through Wynn's :(

We had a champagne brunch at Paris, took the Gondola cruise at the Venetian and watched the dancing waters and strolled through the gorgeous gardens at the Bellagio.

We shopped off the strip because that's where the bargains are. We love Fremont St. (old Las Vegas) and always have a meal at the Golden Gate restaurant which has been in Vegas since the beginning.

We did not golf, did not go to the Grand Canyon or do other sightseeing this trip although we have in the past.

In orther words, whatever you want to do you can do either with a group or by yourself.....you'll have a wonderful time and nobody gives anybody a second look and if they do - who cares!

I think Missy has posted about what a great time she had. BTW, she was gorgeous and it was fun, magical, wonderful and delightful to have a girls day and night together.

P. S. Prince is at the Rio and if you don't see Prince, at least go to the VooDoo lounge - it has an outdoor balcony that overlooks the entire strip!!

MARVELOUS!!

The Luxor is great fun and we've stayed there in the past.

Donna sounds like you had a great time! Albeit slightly painful on that ankle.
