Doing Laundry

Yesterday, I had been dressed in an ankle length skirt for a good part of the day, but when I got around to doing the laundry, I put on a shorter skirt.

My wife didn't really notice the change until a few hours later, as I was heading into the basement to finish.

She asked, "why did you change your skirt?"

I told her, "I wasn't going to try to navigate the stairs with a laundry basket while wearing a long skirt." (Going down isn't that hard, put coming up with a load is asking for disaster.)

She said, more to herself, "I can't believe I asked my husband that (why he changed his skirt)."

I almost broke out laughing aloud.

Just keep the faith hon! She is coming around. It may be slowly, but she is beginning to accept Donna. Hope you can tell her that Virginia says hello and would love to see both of you at the dinner on the 16th of April at Fieldens.
Love ya,
Virginia

I can only hope for the day when my wife will allow me to be fully dressed in front of her.

One day, Robyn. One day. Just give her time.

Donna:
Hope is was an "A" line and not a tight skirt. They can be dangerous when doing stairs.

It was an A-line gypsy style skirt. The dangerous part would have been going up the stairs, with no free hands to lift the skirt high enough to avoid stepping on it.
