I was noticing a beautiful dragonfly tattoo on the woman sitting next to me yesterday at the beach. I don't have any myself and at my old age doubt I will get any but it got me thinking. Do any of the CDs here have specifically feminine tattoos?

I myself am a chicken. I almost got a N tatoo on my bottom after Nebraska won the national Championship title in 1994 but alas after doing a shot for every touchdown we were denied. UGH. I am thinking of getting a Molly tatoo though. Who knows?! I say go for it!!!

I have a heart that is 'blurred' from age. My wife wants me to get it redone.
I'd like something that both a woman and a man could be seen in, it is on my chest.

I don't like tattoo's, don't find them attractive in any way, no matter who they are on. That's just my opinion, of course.

My mother has been getting some in recent years and I just want to go "yuck"

Well, different strokes for different folks, but I have always seen them as permanent dirt. :-k Can't easily remove them with a wash cloth, and though they may be bright and pretty for awhile, they inevitably fade and become dingy through skin renewal in a surprisingly short time.

They also mark you and become part of your identification criteria. That can be useful in some circumstances, such as if you wind up a murder victim, or dead in an accident.

And you can always sell that part of your skin to a collector to put up on his wall, but a painful way to get some dough. And since it has to be a whole skin depth removal, it heals poorly, leaves an unsightly red scar, usually rectangular in form, for the remainder of your life, so probably not a good reason for a fancy tatoo, huh.

Ouch! 8-[

I agree - - there's absolutely no way I'll ever consider getting a tattoo, nor do I like seeing them on anyone!! [-(

I've always heard that the only thing that can totally remove the tattoo, with no evidence of it *ever* being there, is Unicorn Milk . . . nope, not even modern technology can do what Unicorn Milk can do!! :P

Did you hear the one about the biker that was hospitalized and tattooed on the side of his - his ??? (trying to be PC and not get thrown off the forum) his - uh - uh ???? ?member?? was the word "Shorty" well, I'd better not. What is the saying "know the truth and the truth shall set you free." True story, I know "cause it hurt when it was applied!!!!"

Enough!! Sorry.

My tatoo was courtesy of the US Army. Not a big one, but I still hate it.

There was an article in todays Express on tattoos with ink that only shows under black light. I didn't get a chance to read it, but I wonder how they know the design is correct when applying the tattoo. Maybe they draw it under black light too.

The posting about black light tattoo was interesting and I did a quick search and this was the first thing that popped up.

I have a big eagle, with his wings outspread and all his talons out, like he is about to grab some prey. He landed on my arm, when I was in the RAF around the time of my divorce. I guess I wasnt thinking straight that day!
