I'm not forgetting baby steps though. I don't push my wife. We've sort of set some boundries and I'm thrilled with how far she's come in embracing the whole thing. She is usally the one that tells me to get dressed. She said she knows how important this is to me and how happy it makes me to be able to express it. After one outing she asked me how I felt. She could see that I was ecstatic. I told her how for short little pieces of time I felt I actually was female. I guess it's sort of like Virginia's "epiphany", really and truly feeling, being the woman I am inside. What a rush!
Anyway, life is good. My wife and step daughter are both in my corner and we've all gone shopping a few times together. Long live Goodwill!
I've shown my step daughter "K" some pictures and she was truly impressed. But in keeping with baby steps, I will dress for her only when she is ready. I'm pretty sure she is by the way we talk and act together. She is a really cool kid with a good head on her shoulders. I'm a lucky gal to have two such loving women in my life.
When I can figure out how I'll post some pictures. I'm learning, slowly but surely.
