tall girls stockings

Post by Janet Bern »

Many of us love wearing stockings with girdes or garter belts. Most dont have a problem buying stockings but some of us do. I am talking about us "tall girls". They are usually never long enough and there is a constant pull on our garters. I am 6'3, and have found a low cost stocking from Sears that are great.
They are called "Nice Touch" stockings. They are marked lycra sheer. I bought a pair of SmokyTaupe Size E for $3.50 a pair. They also come in Black and Soft Taupe. I suggest the smoky Taupe to hide any hair you may have not shaved. They will feel great on and all tall girls will love them evne the GG's.

Janet, does this mean the smoky Taupe color is an opaque or semi opaque color? Will it even hide dark black hair?

Thanks for the info.

tall stockings

The stockings are not opaque but do a good job of hiding the hair. I find the opaque stockings feel too much like tights as opposed to stockings. However opaque does have its place, usually in white.

If you are in the UK then H&M do good stockings as do ASDA (bizarrely) :)

Being 6'1", I have some trouble finding stockings that would come high enough to not constantly tug my garters too ( but honestly, I do like to feel that tug). I tried Jaclyn Smith Tall, and found them perfect. Un fortunately, only KMart carried them here, and they all closed down a cpl of years ago. When I found out they were closing, i went and purchased like 20 pairs, just to be safe if I couldnt find other suitable ones that fit.

I'm much more careful now caring for them, and this has also taught me to be more careful when I walk and go through my normal daily routine when wearing them, just so I can keep them longer, even still have a cpl of pair in the packages.

Pantyhose and stockings that are long enough

Post by Jean Marie »

I have been wearing Nice Touch hose from Sears for years, another good brand is from Pennys called Sheer Caress. Both brands have wide range of sizing I need larger hose being a fuller figured girl. Jean Marie
