Fun stuff, sad stuff

I haven't posted a lot lately, sometimes life gets busy as we all know. But I did get to our local "Beautiful Dreamer" event this Saturday which was part of the "Winter Party 2008" put on by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. It was kinda nice that they are including us in their events, if even just in a limited way. Heck, its a start. The party was great, perhaps 50 girls from all over. We had a brief memorial for "Simmie" who was recently murdered down here, with touching comments from some of our community activists. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/ ... 7964.story
Anyway, new dress, new hair, makeover and a wonderful SO makes for a great night :) And for our resident hair critic (SL)....I've posted a pic. Golly gosh...a new look! SO walked into the beauty shop and shook her head at first, I thought she didn't like it, but she just just said "wow! its sooo different" and she loves it. Oh well, just a short post about a wonderful time that actually covers a few topics.

You better take goooooood care of us when we come down to Miami in May!!! At least a trip to South Beach --- girls night out you know!!!

There has got to be a lot of action for us to get into!

South Beach?? Someone must be rich here. Well, Virginia, we certainly would love to see you and SL here, but mostly we know Ft lauderdale. But we could do SoBe for a night (SO said she would). We could go to "Lips" also http://www.floridalips.com/ And, and.....well theres the beaches. Looking forward to it, so lets do it!

OOOOWWWWWW! It's gonna be PARTY TIME!

We will talk privately as it gets closer. I will be there for the National Masters' Powerlifting contest, but who cares about that, Virginia and SL just wanna party!!!!!
