My business attire

Hey girls,

For the first time ever I wore my female suit today. I picked it up while I was in Carolina. It was a brown suit with pants; I wore brown peep toe pumps. I also pulled my hair back a bit and used clips.

I wore it to the nail salon where I had a manicure and pedicure (pink polish). I then went to the mall for a little while then drove to Queens to have dinner with my two close Lesbian friends. They made pork chops, potatoes, green beans and a homemade blueberry pie. It was a fun evening. It's always nice to come home to a home-cooked meal after a hard day in the business world. lol Anyway, I think I like the look of women's suits and will try it again. If I can't make it in my male career I would love to be a business woman. :)

The business suit is a good look for you. Sophisticated and refined.

Hello Stephanie: I agree with the previous poster-- that look is definitely good for you.
As a guy I never wear men's suits-- too corporate looking and formal for me.
But for my CDing I do have one or two skirt/jacket combos that could pass for "suits." I think I'd also be willing to try an outfit like the one you have, particularly if I tweaked it with long hair and one or two hippie-ish "accessories"-- peace sign pendant, peace sign earrings, for instance...)
And of course I do have denim jackets and skirts, several of which match exactly and look like a denim "skirt suit."
Looks like you had a great time clubbing...
A few days ago a gg friend told me that she was gay. I've known this person for several years and she has seen me "dressed." She has a young child and was even married.
I'm wondering, having read your other post about gathering with your gay friends, if lesbians accept CDers generally, are curious about us, or these folks you're hanging out with just happen to be cool anyway, regardless of their sexual/gender preferences.
Yep, wearing "girl" stuff certainly is fun-- we could sit here all day trying to figure out why, so I'll just leave this time with-- it certainly is fun!!
(although sometimes it does take a lot of work...)
Peace-- Kendra Lynn ("hippie cheerleader").

Hi Kendra,

Most Lesbians accept us generally but all my friends happen to be cool anyway. Some of my GG friends are actually straight too.

Have 3 skirt suits, and one pants suits. Have to wait for cool weather to wear them down south.
