I met with Virginia and SL last night..we had a nice dinner and it was more than wonderful to get together We had a nice dinner and show at this place http://www.lipsusa.com/web-content/lips%20fl.html The food was actually good and the show was lots of fun. Sadly they found out that traffic in So Fla is...ummm nutso. Both were very tired after the "power lifting" stuff earlier in Miami (I'm still working on power lifting a 16 oz brewski), but SL and Virginia both looked great and were totally the people we're so familiar with here. That Virginia is one amazing lady..but I'm jealous that she has her wonderful SO, SL....she is so special. All in all, we had a very nice time and I'm sure we will post a pic or two (if I can find my camera). At least I matched SL in her black outfit , wore a LBD here It was great, and I thank you both, Virginia and SL, for making the effort to meet us. I had a delightful time.

Yes, meeting Dee and Linda was a thrill and we did have a fantastic time at LIPS. It is a dinner/drag show, but different from most in that the "cast" are also the waitresses and well, they are employees too so they don't "ride a circuit" and that gives them the opportunity to practice together and put on a show together instead of one individual performance at different clubs and depend solely on "tips." And the food was good!!!!!! Valet parking and it was busy! A nice, clean, safe place and some guy had even brought his mother there for her birthday. Language was a bit risque, but you would expect that at this type of venue. "Diva" the emcee/hostess would go out in the audience and talk with folks and tease with them, she was not only pretty, but very good at her job!

Oh, and if your concerned about Carol Ann, she evidently has been "moonlighting" at LIPS as we saw her (or her double) waiting tables there!

Now Sunday, SL and I set out for Key West! Do you guys know how long a state Florida is?? ?Someone who will go nameless ----------- Dee!!! told us, "oh about three hours from Coral Gables!" Yeah!> Right!? How about just over 4 hours! Uh that's one way too. but it was fun!!! I had on a light tan short skirt and "kitten heels" and my big hat to keep the sun off -- lots of that liquid Florida sunshine there! There were ONLY two cruise ships in port and the main drag and I use the word advisedly, in Key West is Duvall Street and it was wall to wall people, locals, those of us who drove down and I would guess 6000+ from the two cruise ships. Like if one person at one end of the block scratched everybody on the block scratched and it was pouring down that liquid sunshine! We "shopped" up and down most of the street, after driving around for a bit, but with the crowds and the rain and a four hour drive back well we only stayed a couple of hours. You could take Duvall Street to Gatlinburg, Tennessee or Branson, Missouri and have mostly the same environment, but off the street there are some great restaurants and other things to do in Key West, plus it is warm and I love warm!!!!! I have been there several times before and it is easy to see why some people get there and just don't leave!!!!! You know they have chickens and roosters running wild all over the place and we saw on family with their three chicks just walking down the street like they owned the place! Really cute to see that !!!

Oh, the meet well, I got three out of five of my goals. I totalled over 1300 pounds, set new National and World records and that's all I am telling!

Yikes...that was Carol Ann???? No wonder rabbit wasn't on the menu...yet. I was wondering if Jeannie was in the kitchen since I heard meat cleavers pounding into the walls. And yes, Diva was a fantastic hostess, not only beautiful with a great smile, but well in control of the show. Sheeesh, so pick on me about the drive time...in So Fla a half hour commute can be 4 hours. You must admit that the drive on the Overseas Highway portion is quite unique and beautiful. I'm just sorry I had to cancel my KW plans at the last moment, but thrilled that I got a full refund on my room (with only one days notice). If anyone ever plans to go to Key West, try the "Southernmost Hotel" group...excellent customer service which is so rare these days
