woodshed

Post by Sylvia H »

Since the woodshed is mentioned frequently on this board and the discovery that Virginia didn't really have one, Ive posted a picture of mine.

Anyone can use it, but do so at your own risk.

Down here in the South, way back in the old days, if you misbehaved or disrespected your parents, you got taken out back behind (or inside) the woodshed to get your posterior parts <|>|<|> smacked several times. The woodshed was traditionally behind the house, and meant to keep the firewood dry without it being inside the house. More like a toolshed or storage closet is used these days.

So, the phrase taking a trip to the woodshed or being taken to the woodshed is most often being used humorously to imply we might have said something out of place and _P deserving of punishment.

Hi Ms Joann,

I guess I can lay claim to the "woodshed" because I have been "taken to the woodshed" more than most of my sisters here, but I have learned I hope 8-[

If memory serves (and don't any of you drag me off to the wood shed because I am simply relating the cause of my first trip) it was my second time out in public. I went to see an afternoon matinee and again, I think it was "Cold Mountain" --not important. Anyway, as I was leaving, standing in the aisle behind an elderly couple as they struggled to help each other put on their coats, I was carefully scrutinized by two ladies sitting next to the aisle and who had not gotten up yet. My coat was still draped over my arm, I had on a knee length fairly tight gray, wool skirt and a long sleeve white silk blouse and 3" +/- heels. I looked not any different than any "business woman" who may have taken the afternoon off! Anyway, the one who was dressed in a mismatched sweat suit, looked me up an down and announced in a very loud voice, "Slut!"

Well, what got me dragged off to the wood shed was my post concerning the incident. I came across at being "proud" of passing well enough to be called a "slut," albeit from a GG that evidently had no "sense of style" gene left in her body! The GG's on the forum took me to task over my, and I will admit, rightly so, exuberance over passing but at a fault! I was told that no "lady" would stand for being called a "slut" and it was not really something to be proud of and that I should be ashamed of myself for even feeling good about passing under that scenario.

"nuff said"!!!

There have been other instances as well --- well meaning comments that could have been expressed better, examples?? well, what a lot of GG's wear in public, how GG's look in public, size of GG's in public,

Ok, Ok, I'll stop, I know each trip was well deserved and I have hopefully learned.

Love,

Virginia

Hi Girls
This place is more fun than a barrel of trannies. You girls kill me.
Virginia,I don't think you were being bad. You were proud to be called a slut. That's all. Who wouldn't?
I have a real tough time getting mad at anybody these days no matter what they say. I lived most of my life as an angry little troll. That's no fun.
Virginia, you are nicest slut I ever met. Keep up the good work Beautiful! The woodshed is so much fun, isn't it? They don't get it!

Love
Jeannie

when I was growing up, taken to the woodshed, was a common Occurrence and the last thing you wanted to happen. Back then the woodshed was also the Coach's or Principle's Office. Today the parent, Coach, or Principle would be put in jail for child adbuse and could end up on the "sex offender" list, which would distroy the person, his family, job, and his relationship with everyone else around him.

More fun than a barrel of trannies. A great expression Jeannie, I'll have to find a place to use it.

I grew up in LA, and you had to learn to fight! When your parents came after you it was easy stuff to deal with. The streets were much worse than the petty crap your parents peddled. My parents resorted to psychological crap. hence the "no" relationship we have now.
I have been out for over a year already WOW!
