Over the years I have taken over 5,000 pictures as I tried to reconcile with myself, this alternate image that I see from time to time in the mirror. I have paid the price recently with my upcoming divorce after 40 years of marriage. Enough about that.

You simply need to decide on your own self-image. I have in my time, seen some pretty unusual “GG’s!” That is, DNA or nature, take your pick, was not especially kind to them. Broad shoulders, thick legs, wide hips, you name it. Features that would send any potential suitor running away. I will not go into the “beauty is skin deep” philosophy.

Bottom line ….. take heart. None of us here have the perfect look! None! A few are more pleasing than others. Some work at it more than others. Some do not need to work at it! DNA!

Decide where you are and then apply your life and makeup AS YOU SEE FIT! If I were close by, I would put on a suit and tie, polish my shoes, comb my hair and take you out to dinner!

You have friends out there! You just need to become a best friend to your self!

I find that so much of crossdressing and the pleasure that it brings to us is in our head - we feel in sinc when the spirit is on us and it can be so delicious! I love being fully dressed, wig, forms, etc.... and when I look in the mirror I see a pretty woman - isn't that all that really matters? Don't let someone who is so superficial get you down. There will always be someone who will accept you just as you are. Chin up girl!
