Handling my CD life

Post by Carole Hill »

In my "intro" I mentioned that I spend about 90% of my time en femme. One of the girls who welcomed me wondered how I was able to do that and not have encounters with relatives and friends and wondered about "close encounters". BTW, my daughters and sons-in-law know that I CD but have never seen me or photos of me. It has not been a topic for conversations.

Being able to live in this manner is possible because I am retired and now live alone. My family and friends do not just "drop in" to see me. One of my daughters works about 2 miles from my house and drives within 1/2 mile of me while going to and from work. She would call before coming to see me. If I were en femme I would tell her that she is welcome to come but she might not want to as I would not look as she is used to seeing me. Then she could choose.

I am out en femme quite a lot. I have seen a few friends in public places over the years but have ever been recognized. As a rule, I do not go to places where my male self would be well known. However, I have been to many concerts where friends of my male self have been present but again, no recognition.

Obviously, during more than 65 years of "dressing" there have been close encounters or actual encounters. Some were more serious
than others. One just has to live through the tough times that follow. I am now at a stage in my life where I am much less concerned
about such encounters.

If I were retired, and living alone, I reckon I'd be the same way.

Welcome to my world Carole ``5

I am almost the same as you in all respects except my kids know and like you they are welcome but Carol Ann will greet them.
I too go out a lot lately and never have had much of a problem as we know people just don't care or to busy with their own lives. Heck I even take the wife to her many doctors appointments and she is the only one who knows but she doesn't like it #-o .

I only have one favored place I love to go and that is a watering hole where there are so many people in a out and I stand in line just like anyone else and wait to be checked out. rotf I love it when men will hold the door open for me and say mam \:D/ .

Life is fun, so live it be happy and enjoy (--)

I have the big R coming up very soon and I too look forward to dressing more frequently. It certainly will not be 90% of my time, just an extra hour here or there.

You are lucky to be able to spend 90% enfemme. I am retired 2 1/2 years and now get very little time to be enfemme as my wife who doesn't know wants to go everywhere with me whereas before I was away quite a lot and the opportunities were much greater todress

I think I would fall somewhere between Carole Hill and Requal Jo. 90% a little too much but a little more than a extra hour or so. I hear you Gina without my wife's support I am only able to dress after she goes to bed which meansnot much time. But the short time I have and being able to talk here is a good feeling.
