Has this ever happened to you?

I just got back from a one week vacation. Before leaving I was firmly entrenched in my belief that I was going to return to Chi-Chapter (the Chicago based Tri-Ess chapter) and renew my relationship with my fellow CD's. When I finally arrived at that decision I was so relieved I could just feel the weight of the world lift from my shoulders. I knew I had been repressing these feelings for too long and it was making me miserable.

Vacation time: My wife, two kids and I flew down south to visit close family. We had a great time and were always busy. Every night when I go to bed I use the only method I know to wind down and eventually put me to sleep; I daydream about a situation that would eventually put me in a body that would be HOT female! It works like a charm every time and I fall asleep like a baby in mother's arms. BUT... it didn't work over vacation! In fact I had no desires to crossdress at all! I brought some panties, jeans, socks and gym shoes (living in stealth) but had no interest in wearing any of them! This is a first for me.

Now I'm back home in touch with those that know me best and all is back to normal. I'm curious, has anyone else ever had this experience?

I know that during my rare trips, my Jadeanne persona really doesn't come along. Almost all of our travels are visiting relative and friends, and my wife is the only other person who knows about this side of me. We have relatives visit only rarely and when they do, I stay in male mode the full time they are there, no more than a week and don't have problems. I can at least jump on the net and visit this forum for a little while at night.

I don't really miss it while away, with all of the activities. Only once did the opportunity present itself when my wife and I had our own room at a resort while we were attending a civil union ceremony. That night, she let me sleep in the slip she wore at the ceremony. Aside from that time, I stay in male mode while we are away. After we get back home, Jadeanne gets to dress up again

When on vacation I too am not interrested in dressing, it seldom enters my mind with all of the activities. The last day when I am on my way home, I begin to think about it, and it is such a treat to slip into something soft as soon as I get home.
