My femininity

Post by Andrea F. »

Since joining this site back in August, my femininity has grown a lot. I just can no longer deny myself of all things pretty and feminine. I just can't stop having these thoughts and emotions. They have become an integral part of who I want to be. As I develop my femme self, I will need to reach out to you girls for advice and guidance as to what I am going through. What has really kicked my girlish side into overdrive was my first real outing as a lady to Charlee's Christmas party. I had no hint of my male self. I was dressed from head to toe in just feminine attire to which is so amazing. I really enjoyed wearing a dress for the first time due to the comfort that it provided. I know now that I want and need more outings dressed as a lady. From a very young age, I have been keeping these feelings all bottled up and can't do that anymore. The last 2 years have been amazing and so liberating. Coming out to a few select people has made my life so much fuller and enriching. I am learning more about myself everyday. I am so glad you all have helped me through my journey to be feminine and embrace it. My mind has been very much infused with being feminine now. Lately, the feelings have been very intense and powerful. I just am so glad to be here.

Hi Andrea,

Welcome to your reality! Now stop! It is such a wonderous feeling to let yourself, find yourself. I am not a psychologist, but I play one in life. You have several options as you trod this path. First, if you truly feel this is you or a part of you or who you aspire to be - YES! these are questions you MUST answer. Finding the answer does NOT happen overnight. It can takes literally months to find the answer(s). Some refer to it as "the Pink fog." You first need to find a quite time and place to just sit and contemplate who you are or think you are. Assess your feeling and it is essential YOU MUST BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF! If you feel that you have feminine instincts, feelings, expressions and you are not quite sure where you are going, you may wish to seek professional help but make absolutely sure that that person is familiar with "us." Don't be bashful about calling and asking if they have worked with "us," before. There are those "in the field" out there who will lie and then think they can "convert" you or "save" you from yourself. Be VERY careful if you choose "the couch" as a way to confirm yourself.

Some of us found that the "feelings" are so strong and we just let it happen and without "professional help" "did it our way!" We turned out OK! Each of us deals with this "gift" in different ways and fortunately there can be found a lot of "ideas" from the girls here on this forum. A lot of different "means to the end," if you will.

Don't be bashful about asking questions and tell us how and what you are doing. Don't know if your married, divorced, have parents, children, employed etc. Each of those bring a different response to how you respond to yourself.

Hopefully we can give you several options and you will have to chose those that you feel will work for you.

Again, let us know how you are managing your journey! I can tell you from my personal experience it is wonderful!!!!!!!!

Andrea, so glad you are finding your fem-side, it is a wonderful journey. Virginna had lots of great advice, pink fog is strong, so take your time, doesn't happen over night. We are here to help as well you now have chars group of girls for support meetings. Futher down the road professional help is a good plan if you are in doult or planning to go the next level and want to transition. Our chatting in the chatroom is a great help to all of us. Take care andrea, accepting your fem-side is a big step forward, once I did I was so much more at peace, now I love being a girl even though I also have my male persona. We all have different situations in life, but cdrsing is all so similar to us, some of us just need to be more fem, that's where the transgenderd aspect of life starts. Take your time and enjoy this beautiful side of yourself, ^^_|| , there are lots of girls here that know a lot more than me, that's why I like this haven so much also. (--) nicole

Hi Andrea,

I share your sentiments exactly. Taking the first steps to openly express myself has unleashed so many feelings and emotions. Robyn is happy, content, and free. I wish I could go out skipping through the streets in my pretty dress ^^_|| However, I’m a realist, and I am emotionally cautious, thus continually reading the posts from the experienced ladies (as you are) is helping me to prepare myself for long term fulfillment. This is a wonderful place for us all to share and learn.

Virginia’s post have been exceptionally helpful… I read all her words :)
Normal, just not average,
Robyn
