Getting caught by mother

After being asked by my mom if I was wearing mascara once, another time, pretending to be asleep when mom came into my room to get laundry, I had my pantyhose covered, shaved leg, with my toes polished red, sticking out from the bed covers so mom could see it, then on Halloween, I asked my mother if she would help me dress as a girl, she said she would but she was going to go all the way with me. She set my hair, did my makeup & put me in a skirt, top & heels. I was disappointed, she didn't do everything I was hoping she would do, so when I left the house, I went to the store & bought dark red nail polish & polished my toe nails, I super glued fake nails to my fingers then polished them, I bought tweezers & plucked my eyebrows then pierced my ears & put in silver hoop earrings, I bought 4 pairs of sheer energy suntan pantyhose, I wore one pair & had the other 3 in a bag. I went home around 10:00p.m., you should have seen the look on my mothers face, I told her one of my girl friends did this for me, she asked me what I had in the bag, I sat on the sofa, crossing my legs, so she would see my polished toes thru the open toed heels I was wearing, then removed the 3 pairs of pantyhose & my nail polish from the bag. She looked at me funny then told me to go shower & get ready for bed. I showered, then re did my mascara, both top & bottom lashes, put on a pink night gown, sprayed myself with perfume, then took out my hoops & put in white pearl studs. I went down stairs to say good night to my mom, when she seen me, she asked me if I was gay, I told her no, but I did want to be a girl. I then asked mom if she would set my hair for me, she did & told me if I wanted to be a girl, she would make me live as a girl, I told her I did, so for 2 weeks I got to live as the girl I always wanted to be.

You're lucky to have so accepting a monther. Mine put me though a series of electroshock treatments (in 1950). That still can happen today.

Push the envelope gently, for your own sake as well as your family's sake. I'd especially watch the perfume. Many people find perfume excessively annoying, no matter who wears it.

Having said that, I suggest talking to your mom about all this. She knows what you want, and she can help you get there, if you let her. What are her concerns? How can you make things easier for both of you without pushing each others' buttons? This has got to be hard for her, no matter how enlightened or liberal she is. Go. But go easy.

I was beaten... but thankfully no electroshock "therapy". One learns how to not get caught.

I had to let my mother go to the grave thinking that was "just a phase". Otherwise, I might be homeless by now.

Are we to believe that you plucked your eyebrows, glued on nails, and pierced your own ears with hoop earrings, all in one evening, then went home? Where did you do all this, in the car rearview mirror? My ears were pierced 45 years ago, my husband had his done just a few years ago.

The first set is never hoops, nor changed out the same day. Unless you're a masochist, I call BS on the whole story. I'll not be a part of fantasies.

Hum. All I know is if you do not want to be caught or ever discovered you have a very good chance of being successful, I know because as far as I know my parents never knew, or anyone else until I told my wife 7 years into our marriage.

On the other hand...if you want to be discovered it is very easy to do...and probably even to lie to yourself and actually believe you don't want to be discovered all while doing things which will lead to discovery.

Aha! In a private section, Joanne claims to have been married for 20 years, has had pierced ears for 12, and forced by wife to live as a woman.
Even if one event happened before the other, nothing adds up unless it's all sexual fantasy.

Gender and dressing issues are serious subjects. Responders truly care about those that put their problems or concerns in print.

On the forum my husband frequents, fantasies, dreams, and silly thoughts are posted as such. We all have them. Fantasy should never be posted as a serious subject, wasting everyone's time and emotions. I dislike being played a fool, I'm sure no one else does either.
