Dear Danielle - Life's Answers in a Nutshell Q&A
Hello Girls:
I am not any type of qualified/certified counselor but my extensive experience and education has provided me with a wealth of information that cannot be discounted. I have been sucessful in directing my son whom is bi-polar, and getting my spouse thru a dozen complicated experiences including rape-at-knife-point by a trusted neighbor. All in a days work for this girl. There is usually an answer for most questions, it is just that you many not be ready to implement the suggestion with earnest effort.
So, if you have a question, try "Dear Danielle" and if you do not like the awswer, then just hit the delete button, girl!
An example:
Q. I can wear either a 36 or 38 bra. I always have trouble with my breast forms (silicon preferred) moving around making me feel like they may fall out or give me a funny look in my blouses. Help?
A. Walmart sells a reasonably priced bra that will take care of this. It is a "Hanes Her Way" series no. G449. The number is very important! Bras in the similar line are not constructed the same way. This bra has a nice soft cotton liner with a silky rayon laced trimmed outer layer. Hanes did not sew this bra together at the top so you have secure pockets as in a mastectomy bra, wide straps on the B, C and D, 36/38/40 versions only cost less than $8.00 each. They are perfect for 16-hour days and you can do hand stands if you make sure to see that the form fits all the way into the bra. Very comfy, very secure, very feminine. The final fit is up to you. I have been on a trampoline with mine girls! For the little more daring girl, if the forms are of a high quality, using one cup size smaller, will still secure the form with a small portion of the form visible for a more realistic appearance under silk blouses or light weight camp shirts in the summer months. No need for adhesives or other chemicals that may irritate the skin. Smith-Nephew medical adhesive is designed for this purpose but can be rather expensive for daily users.
Hugs
Danielle

FLASH NEWS! FLASH NEWS! FLASH NEWS! FLASH NEWS!
SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES
Walmart Super Center in Central Florida is now stocking size 10 1/2 and 11 1/2 reg and wide shoes! Always reserved for speciality stores, these two sizes will predominantly fit most CD's that are 6' 1" or shorter. All other parameters being equal, I wear a 10 1/2wide and am 6' even at 148lbs.
You may have noticed for years, catalogs always say, "no 10 1/2 or 11 1/2" except fpr speciality catalogs that charge an arm and a leg for the size. No more girls! My Super Wal-Mart shoe vendor just put up the stock today! Possibly 7 styles to choose from, flat or heel, 10 1/2, 10 1/2wide, 11 1/2 and 11 1/2wide. I will drink to that!!!!
All shoes were under $12.00.... Beat that Payless shoes....ha ha ha...
Hugs

I will refrain from making religious, political or economic comments in this thread. There could be a great deal said about the state of the economy and how Wal-mart does not pay it's employees well, but, there appears to be sufficient coverage else where in this forum.

There are a million - million sites on the web and each has something to offer. I wanted to provide the following address:
http://www.danistroom.com
This TS person had made exceptional effort in providing a site of interest and while not everything is perfect, I think a trip to this site is well worth it. You be the judge.
As an editor for the search engine, http://www.dmoz.org
[Open Directory Project], I will provide links to new sites that have just listed with us. They already may be available through other search engines, but, I will treat them as "new" to me.
Hugs

Sometimes when I stand close to the mirror I become what I see, while at other times, I am just me! If the me that you see, is really not me, then when does "she" really become me? For If I am the me that I see, then the "she" that I see must be me!
You can quote me on that!

If we were all given one million dollars or an amount that we considered satisfactory to stop what we are doing presently and give ourselves a chance to evaluate our past experiences what would we say.
I tried this mental exercise today without the money, ha ha LOL. For just a moment in my lifeline of time, I sat and thought. Now you may laugh, but, really, just how many can say that they could do that today, with the exception of those that have retired with adequate funding from years of hard work.
“Searching for the meaning of life is a time consuming task that for the most part, we do not feel there is adequate time. With the exception of our “teenage years,” when “we knew everything,” there really isn’t much time according to most to sufficiently and carefully “think.” Yet, there are 24 hours in every day! That is a given pretty much. It is constant, and you can count on it like death and taxes. So the time is there, perhaps it is we that cannot find the time. As if someone is hiding it from us and we must go on a “hide n’ seek” venture to claim some time for ourselves.
It is that “nose to the grind stone,” mentality that quietly steals away our lives. We have two points of reference:
A. 0-----------25--------------50------------75------------100
B. 0-----------25--------------50------------75------------120
The line [A] represents our maturity level as determine by our own personal belief about our behavior on a regular basis. For the most part, people when tested will score themselves in the adult ranges, >25 and <75.
The line represents our chronological age in years with 120 years rather optimistic but possible I suppose. You might wish you were “on something” about then, with so many parts failures I am not sure I would like to live that long.
In reality, I have been working on this article the better part of my life. Saving a piece here and there, to sum it up somewhere someday as in now. What better place to sound out an idea.
Take heed! This is not a well placed argument. The details may be sketchy at best. If you are “stuck in form” as Dr. Wayne Dwyer says, then how can one ever expect to change. I often ponder that piece of wisdom. He was not talking to a gathering of T* people, rather, it was at a retreat for those that could see the writing on the wall and attended this “workshop” presented in Southern California about 10 years ago.
Suffice it to say, I have spent many an hour investing my time in this form of study when “I make the time available” for such ventures. In 35 years I have been on perhaps 10 vacations, each taking me back to my spouse’s Ohio farm home to visit her relatives. Other than that, I only take mini-vacations, (1 – 3 days) when I need the down time. You will not find a cell phone plastered to my ear, but I do run a successful consulting business in the computer industry on a local level with small business as my primary target.
I think much of this writing comes from being in a “melancholy” state, while my spouse is on her 2 week visit/vacation to Ohio and her father’s home (mother is deceased), another story about that for another time perhaps.
So look at line [A] and decide at what level you operate. Write it down. Then, without showing it to anyone else, ask your SO to pick a number for you after explaining the significance of the numbers on the line. You act like…..5 year old, 10 year old, 25 year old….etc. When you have that number, compare to YOUR number. Are you on target or is there a significant difference?
Take line and pick your chronological age. Place a nice [green] vertical line on the paper so you can see where you are. Look to the left and surprise, that is where you have been already, no need to look there anymore except for perhaps guidance on future problems that need a reliable answer from previously collected data, which may be right or wrong.
Last, place a nice [RED] vertical line on the scale that is the mean average of your parents ages, still with us or departed. With the exception of accidents or an unusual and untimely departure from earth, this average number most likely is YOUR number, +/- 7 years. The Insurance Institute of America supplies us with this nifty concept formula and is used in life expectancy formulas for insurance etc.
Okay, you know when you were born, you know your present age and now have an idea of how much time has been used and what is left. Now here is the silly part. You do not want to just quit your job, leave your loved ones and go wandering off into the desert of life. No, rather, you are perhaps looking for just a small get-away from what you will surely return too in the near future.
That’s Cding! Only you can know if this “hobby” leaves you fulfilled or still wanting for something that you cannot seem to get your hands on. The glass is half-empty, or half-full. You make that choice everyday!
Am I right about anything here today? It entirely depends on your perception, based on information that you have collected from your previous years, right or wrong, If you think that this is “too complicated,” think again. It represents in a very small way, what you have been doing so far to date in your life. Making choices as you did to read this installment!
I am going to think some more about what I have done so far in life and what it is that I want to do before my number comes up!
Hugs,
Danielle La Belle
