Hi all,

Beauty,

Thanks, girl. :) You're too kind, though; the motivations to give away weren't completely selfless. I mean, I was heading out on the road... where was I going to put all that stuff?

:: Christina tries to picture herself wandering the British-Columbia deserts with a backpack full of pink nylon panties and high heels... mmmm, nope, can't do it :: -swg-

Love,
CJ

That is a very intersting question. When I lived at home with my parents I kept all the clothes I had in a room that led into the crawl space in the roof. My room's closet had the only door to the crawl space so I always felt pretty safe about hiding it there. Now that I have my own place my bedroom has two closets half of one is dedicated to all the CDing clothes that is long and I have three draws in two dressers with my clothes. And not really having to worry about any one really coming in I sometimes leave night gowns on bedroom chair.

Tonight my wife and I went through our bedroom closet, rearranged the summer and winter clothes, put aside some things for a rummage sale. I'd still trying to decide if I want to donate my black flats. They are the ones I wear the least of my 8 pairs of femme shoes, so I'd have room for a new pair.

We will also be looking at what other people are donating for the rummage sale, now that there is a little room in the closet :) .

Today, my wife and I went through our dresser drawers and we filled up several bags with rummage sale donations.

She went through her things first with my help. We found some tops that I didn't know she had. I went through my male dresser drawers and got rid of some long-unworn jeans, shirts, teeshirts, etc.

Then I got to put on my proper femme underpinnings and my black skirt, and went through her discarded tops, then my femme things. I kept about half of the tops she was tired of, then I put some of my old tops in the donation bag, along with a sports bra and my black flats.

I also reloaded my "parachute" replacing the paint stained old shirt and jeans with cleaner ones to go with a pair of socks and a pair of moccasins in a plastic shopping bag. It came in handy once when I was upstairs dressed en femme in the computer room (no bathroom upstairs and only one flight of stairs) and a neighbor had an urgent computer question. If such an occasion arises again, I will look a little more presentable .

We also have some room in the dresser drawers, and I'm also checking out the closeout section of Blair.

I'm still dressed from last night. Getting this eye makeup off before work is going to be some chore! :)

I'm dressed in my fav Chemise that' I've shown before and last night was a "little special" so I have on thigh high fish nets and undies.

Have a great day!!

Throwing away clothes :(

When I left uni I threw away what I had, which was just a black dress, short skirt and lil panties only cos I didn't want to take them home on the bus incase I got caught lol

Then in February I threw all my stuff away, I am so gutted bout that cos I had some really nice things which I can't get back now :(

So I've done it twice but I am never throwing stuff away again lol

Bad looking or bad fitting - throw away
never used - make decision , use it or trash it
common use - throw away when your totally sick of wearing it
heritage items - keep items packed away if they have a particular sentimental value such as your first outing etc .

I have a half way bin that items are considered thrown out , if I dont change my mind after an amount of time then the item is put in the charity recycle bin.

I don't mind too much throwing away worn or seldom used clothing. It means that I have dresser/closet room I need to fill....

time to go shopping!! ##oo##

I don't usually wear hose or pantyhose but when I get a run, they go in the trash. Panties usually stay if the elastic is serviceable but if in question, trashed. Hardest are the bras - I have such difficulty finding the "right" size that I just keep buying more. Nightowns and slips - I get rid of the older ones that are not especially comfortable. Outerwear goes when I tire of it or haven't worn it for a while.
If there were no dreams or fantasies, the prospect for our world would be dull indeed.

Purged one time and one time only back in the mid 80's when I was still single. I had an anxiety attack one day that if I died suddenly, my family would discover "the suitcase" which contained my "terrible secret." So I 86'ed it. A few months later, "Christine" came back with a vengeance and Katy bar the door...let the shopping commence. And boy did it ever! My femme wardrobe grew by leaps and bounds to the gargantuan level it is today.

While you may not experience the excesses to the degree that I did, do yourself a favor the next time you are seriously thinking of purging it all and just don't. You will re-purchase and probably add on to what you initially had in the first place, plus feel like an idiot to boot for getting rid of that which is not only an important part of your personality and psyche, but which provides the creature comfort and relaxation that this phenomenon creates for you. The expense involved in re-purchasing the attire cannot be taken lightly either ladies. That I really can tell you about.

It's good advice girls! 8)

xoxoxoxo,

Christine
