Kristen, first ! Girls (GG's) are smart!! Unless she is being used against you - I promise she will come back! Since I will claim senioriy here! My wife, God Bless her! outed me to my daughter (her step-daughter) back in November when I came out to her (My wife). Anyway my daughter 33 with my two grandchildren has had her lifetime ups and downsand Dad was always there for her, and she is now married to a really great guy, who vitrually worships her, she told him, as she should have, his initial comment, keep him away from my children, ie. my two grandchildren. I, in my own defense, had to point out, uh, let's see, I wear dresses, question?????? "who was institutionalized for several months for drug abuse??????" I now have free reign with my grandchildren, I gave my daughter Jung's Anima Theory along with some other material to read and like she said, "Your my Dad, I love you and it OK!"
It will be OK , if your daughter is being manipulated, it will take time, but I assure you she will come back!
Prayers to you, honey, keep the faith!
Love,
Virginia

Virginia, Thank you for such a straight forward and uplifting message, I can't tell you how you have lifted my spirits, i know she'll come back to me some day ,but it is so nice to hear that from someone. My exwife is so dead against me and crossdressing . I do not blame her for either one, I am bi polar and we had our time with that alone. And then the crossdressing on top of that, and I did not handle my self very well with either. My daughter and I were planning a overnight trail ride in the mountians in two weeks, my exwife is letting her decide if she wants to go or not. I think that's a reasonable way to approach this. We also have a trip to Minnesota to go to in Sept. and she was so looking forward to that trip also. A cousin of hers is getting married the son of her God Mother and Father. So I will let everyone know when the decsion is made. Thanks again.... for the encouraging words. .......love Kristen.

Kristen,
Small steps honey, small steps. Don't bring it up to your daughter, unless she does then let her take the lead. At thirteen, she is learning so as you know, be gentle and let her absorb it as she can, do not force it and it will work out great!
Love ya,

Kristen,

I don't know how I overlooked this thread in your time of need, but I am truely sorry for not being there to offer my support. But I do offer it now. I don't have any great wisdom to share with you other than my sisters here are wise and have helped me through several crisis' already. While I can not offer words to heal your heart, I can tell you that I understand where you are, share your pain, and love you.

You are strong, and I know you will find your way through this.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Elizabeth, No need to apologize, I thank you for your thoughts and love, I was kind of waiting for you. Figured you didn't see it, it's been a tough two days, I just hope my daughter will feel like going to my nephew's wedding in Minnesota in late sept. She so adores him. I 'm positive her mother will let her go. My ex always liked my family, but I think she might of been a little jealous because my ex is adopted ( her biological mom is from minn.) and her mother was very cold to my ex growing up. Thanks again for your kind words, your friend ,always......Kristen
