Kewl!! I will agree, for a culture that prides itself on obedience to freedom & tolerance of all that is tolerable, there are too many in the community who choose the path of hate, that's just human nature & it seems there's really nothing to be done. Except perhaps confront, destroy preconceptions, & attempt to open the mind. Which is at least one reason I decided I had no problem showing off Violet to others in the community & in my life. If I've helped to open the minds of some who thought of CDs in stereotypical or negative terms, I've done my jobs. And if people's ideals have become so ossified that they cannot accept me for who and what I am, then to Hell with them!

I am glad to hear you two have found love within the community as too many seem to have broken love drivers.

I was pretty certain that I wouldn 't find Mr. Right in mainstream society so I took a chance and checked out the Goth scene

I have also made some wonderful friends

I was looking for a place where I would fit in and be accepted, and WOW!! For a "newbie" on the Goth scene, I fit right in and was totally accepted. It was AWESOME!! ##oo##
