Family Gossip
When my parents accidentally caught me red handed wearing nail polish and a skirt it was awkward. It was even MORE awkward when I called my uncle much later and he knew about it too! Turns out that most of my extended family now knows about my dressing. Luckily my uncle and cousin have been pretty accepting about it. My cousin Heather asked me a couple of questions like if I wore a wig and why I started doing it. I felt nervous at first but eventually I could tell that she wasn't tripping out too much. It's still strange to think that my entire family now has a completely different view of me. I used to be the quietest little christian boy ever and I think that the news threw them all on their heads.
why is the world terrified of itself?

HI Britney,
Not sure of your age or marital status, but depending on how comfortable you are with yourself, it can be as tramatic for you finding out that others know as it maybe for them to find out they have a crossdresser in the family! A lot of your sisters here have "been there done that." So perhaps if things start transistioning to a point that you have trouble dealing with it, we are here for you, so just let us know if we can help you get through this. In my case my brother-in=law said he would kill me if I hurt his sister (just another uneducated redneck!) My son-in-law said that he was concerned about me being around my grandchildren ( this from an institutionalized drug addict!) We all have out crosses to bear, and sometimes we can help others bear theirs and sometimes we need help bearing our own and yet other times we have to point out to others that they don't have the prettiest cross in the parade!
Good luck and if we can help??!!

Are you educated on crossdressing? That is, if your family starts asking questions or being controversial, can you tell them why you need to crossdress? That CDing is not a mental disorder that can be cured?
Hopefull there will be no controversy, and your family will be supportinve and try to understand. A good loving family will want to understand.
