Yes Anita, it's human nature to seek out what interests us and ignore what doesn't. If the interest is there, then curiousity is sure to follow.
I don't think I would question the fact that my wife's GG friend is not cool with it, if only on a superficial level. Like, "I accept what you do but hey, I don't have to see it". That said, I remain hopeful we will have that conversation someday.

A point I was going to make, and forgot to add, was this one. I've had people tell me, "Oh, people are all different. That person just may not show their interest the same way as you would expect."
I don't find this to be true, myself. That's why I was saying that I've done business with many different types of people, and they're fairly consistent. Growing up, I worked for several television repair shops, and I got to see all kinds of people--the rich and the poor alike call the TV man. People couldn't afford to ignore me, so I got to observe many different versions of how people act when they really want to hear what you have to say. It has served me well, all these years.
