Whew.... what a deep discussion on this subject.
I found it very interesting to read everyones replies, all were quite thought provoking. While I still read information and theories on CD'ing, I'm not "looking for an answer" as I once was. I believe I've reached a point where I can accept and enjoy who I am. I also in my younger years needed the sexual release whenever I dressed, and identified dressing with just that. And, while that sometimes happens now.... it's not the reason behind my dressing. Being dressed now gives me feelings of relaxation and comfort.... and, I just plain love the look and feel of womens clothes.
While I think there is prob some common thread in all of us that drives our desire or need to dress, we are all still individuals and I wouldn't want to see us being labeled and/or pigeonholed.
My only wish would be that society were more accepting that we could dress how we feel and go about our daily routines whether in dress slacks or a skirt. Somehow I can't see that in my lifetime..... but, we can always dream!
Thanks to MariaA for this thread.... and, I like others take some time posting my answer. Which is not a bad thing at all!
