Sorry to hear of your bad experiences buying shoes but that doesn't make you a freak. I'm sure there are people out there who would be only too happy to help you find what you need.
I see that my analogy was too heavily obfuscated to be properly understood. Let me try to be more perspicuous this time.
While it is true that my feet are a very rare size, I have no guilt whatsoever about my feet. Why should I? Indeed, some people might say I am a freak, but I choose not to feel that way. I must accept that my feet will not change, but I also choose to feel good about how relatively easy it is to find women's shoes that fit (silver lining eh?). When I need drab shoes, I end up on e-Bay, but at least there is e-Bay.
But by parallel reasoning, why should anyone feel guilt about crossdressing? Crossdressing is just as non-violent, and a lot more common. And yet, unfortunately, many people manage to make crossdressers feel guilty, and/or crossdressers allow themselves to feel guilty over something they cannot change.
So I used this example to illustrate how a person might feel guilty over an issue (like crossdressing) where there is no choice - no ability to change. I hoped readers might see the futility of guilt over crossdressing, and find a way to discharge those negative feelings.
Again, I'm sorry if I got carried away in the process.
Hugs,
Bernice
