I really appreciate all of the responses. Especially the ones from all of the X-military. I'm in a 1 out of a million situation here and it's nice to know that I have people to turn to. Albeit on a forum. So thanks again.

It's been a difficult situation because I have my very own living quarter and these inspections are, from what I can tell, not atall thorough. As I stated before, I tested the waters when I first moved here by having a few feminine things in a napsack in my closet. Basiclly when the inspection occurs; The fire alarm goes off, sergeants knock on everyone's door and everyone if forced to get on a bus and go take a drug test. Supposedlly the rooms are then searched and as soon as you piss into your cup, you are good to return to your room. During the last two inspections I have fem clothes in the same bag in my closet and no one found it. But you never know when a supercop may want to go above and beyond the call of duty and decide to actually search my manure. Then, open up a can of worms which I am forced to lie about. Even if they find clothes in my room They have no possible way to prove they are mine. All I have to say is "they belong to my cousin. She accidentlly left them here when she visited. I didnt know that this was against the rules. I'll throw them out if nessiscary". Does anyone feel as though this is a false sense of secutrity? Can I really get nailed as a crossdressing mental case and discharged for simplly owning a bag of fem clothes?

Was it difficult to go cold turkey. I'm starting to think that may be the best solution. Atleast for a few months untill I move out.
Not that difficult. I went home every two months or so, so I knew there'd be a break. I enlisted in the military, and was prepared for a long break. They tested me for a wool allergy that was listed on my medical papers, and dismissed me before I ever went to basic training. So I never dealt with what you're dealing with.

After age 18, it was never an issue for me for 30-some years. If I CDed, I did it using male clothing and towels, say, for skirts--no women's clothes around at all, and no borrowing from girlfriends. I didn't feel any need to do it if I was in a relationship. Then I stopped doing relationships, because I was seeing that some things were not going to change, no matter how wonderful the woman with me was. My music career would always get in the way, and I was tired of fighting to have both the woman and the career. After three years, the CDing came back. It was more intense than it ever was the first time around.

Up here in Canada I've met a few (ch)air force members just have everything hanging in their closets next to their civilian clothing. But then again Canadians have always been quite more liberal about these things.
