Sigh...I guess since you want me to open up a bit, here goes...As Susie, I find myself increasingly attracted to men, wanting to see if I'm somehow they find me worthy of their time...Even striking up a small-talk kind of conversation....How many of you get the same feeling?

Hi Susie
I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling low today. What could help pep you up?

I think quite a lot of women rely on that sort of thing. Like if they're attractive to men, it boosts their self-esteem.

I've never been out dressed up, but I do fantasize about that sort of thing - being attractive to men. That's one of my problems about going out, that I'd be seduced into doing something that wasn't good for me - like I wanted to be validated as a woman rather than really wanting to have a relationship with a man.
Don't wish your life away for that one day a week Suzie , Do as I and a lot of other girls do and underdress. That is to wear femme underwear under your everyday clothing , it does help a lot in keeping you sane.
It is the only way I've been able to function for the last 32 years and not run screaming out of the house. While I still get some Wendae time(not enough), underdressing is all that keeps me sane.

Hey Susie - I'm not sure how cding is for you, but I find that actually being dressed en femme is just the icing on the cake! There is so much you can do whilst not dressed! Here are some examples -

* People watch - how do women walk, what to they do with their hands, how do they sit, how do they pass each other, how do they hold their hair, what are their mannerisms, etc.

" Listen to conversations - pitch, tone, sibilance, etc. Practice speaking in the car. Sing along to female vocals.

* Get on you tube - how to polish your nails, do your hair, shave your legs, etc.

* Read women's magazines - what are they concerned with? What's in fashion, etc.

* Think about the feelings you have when dressed - how might you incorporate those feelings into your everyday way of being? Introduce this into your everyday relationships and notice how people react.

For me, cross dressing isn't about clothes - it's about finding a voice for an important part of myself and having a different relationship with the world .... and shopping *-*
