I personally feel comfortable considering myself a "transvestite." I think it has a more serious connotation than "crossdresser." .

Hi Maggie, I too was comfortable with Transvestite, until I heard of crossdresser. CD is the new term for TV I believe. So now I am a CD.
It makes no real difference, as we are who we are. Now Janegirl, that's another matter. To close to Jane Doe.

Hi girls,

I loathe the label transvestitte. Personally, the term just conjures up a picture of the big club drag acts and nothing more.
I love the terms Janegirl and Shemale, to me they describe CDing in a more subtle and softer way.
