What you can do is just break the ice with her or a simple hello when you walk past, or even a smile. Just try to break the ice but DON'T make her transition the first topic of conversation. She will NOT want to feel that you're making an issue out of it, even if you're trying to let her know that you support her. I guess an analogy I can use would be someone walking up to a black person & just saying out of the blue "Oh hey, guess what 'dog'. I love rap!" Or walking up to an Asian person & saying out of the blue, "I always use chopsticks!" without even getting to know the person as a person.
In other words, try to make her feel like any other person you would get to know. Only if she feels more comfortable with discussing it can you let her know your support.
And let HER be the first to bring it up, if she does at all. And if she doesn't (chances are she WON'T) then don't worry about a thing. Just treat her like any ordinary woman.
