Hi Aislin,

What you can do is just break the ice with her or a simple hello when you walk past, or even a smile. Just try to break the ice but DON'T make her transition the first topic of conversation. She will NOT want to feel that you're making an issue out of it, even if you're trying to let her know that you support her. I guess an analogy I can use would be someone walking up to a black person & just saying out of the blue "Oh hey, guess what 'dog'. I love rap!" Or walking up to an Asian person & saying out of the blue, "I always use chopsticks!" without even getting to know the person as a person.

In other words, try to make her feel like any other person you would get to know. Only if she feels more comfortable with discussing it can you let her know your support.

And let HER be the first to bring it up, if she does at all. And if she doesn't (chances are she WON'T) then don't worry about a thing. Just treat her like any ordinary woman. :)
Live it. Love it. OWN IT.

Hi Aislin,

I can't give any better advice that you've already received. I just wanted to wish you the best! :) I think what you're going to do is so cool. :)

People may talk about you, but they'd do that anyway so talking to Patsy won't really change much. I think for the most part you'll be a diplomat that will make other re-think their positions or get others who've wanted to talk to her to go over to her now because you did and came away with your life.

You're so wonderful, I can't express it in words. :)

Deep Breath, how does a simple thumbs up work for you all. I finally found her, located the seat she was in and on a walk past looked her straight in the eye and gave her a thumbs-up.

She looked a little surprised but seemed to relax as I moved on. Maybe she suspects that all will be better in the world now.

My oh my what a rush.

Thanks again for all your support, and lets keep an eye on this story shall we?

Still No regrets just real good feelings.

Hi there,

A thumbs up is perfecto! :) It's was the most you wanted to do and you did it. I say wanted to do because that was your action. You may, in your head, have wanted to do more, but there are two comfort levels and one is yours and the other is hers. :)

I think you did a great job! :) ^@^ *-* ``5

Thank you for keeping us posted!!! :)
