Should I expect my spouse to accept my CDing’?

How are you dealing with or handling this aspect of your life?

I've typed that same post 100's of times Elizabeth, not to mention papers and speeches at various conferences.

Acceptance is not an optionial thing, same as racism, sexism and homophobia. All too often "non-accepting" is a very pretty word for a very ugly thing. If someone doesn't like it they don't have to live together anymore, but it is never a license for spousal emotional abuse, controling behavior, isolating behavior (not allowing it outside) and other things that are usually justified over and over again.

Hi Girls:

Any time that I feel a need for wisdom, I just pop in at the forum!

Fortunately for all of us, there are some well established, mature people here that were successful in many different walks of life. It has been of a great help to me at times to just skim through the entries and see what others are saying.

A different point of view can make one more aware of other aspects of living life to it's fullest.

I was taught to believe in the concept, "live and let live." "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Hugs
