I always loved it when I was shopping for me and Ro, like getting panties for both of us and we aren't the same size. The good sales folks would catch the size differences and point them out to me, then ask if that was correct. I never bat and eye and simply said yes. The ladies just took it all in stride.

My other favorite question is, "do you know her size?" and depending on my mood I would say, "yes I know my size." Or I would say, "oh she's about this size" and show myself.

I'm happy to say I've never had an offensive comment from a SA while buying lingerie. One time I was buying a top and asked to try it on and the lady said "but this is a woman's!" She said it in a surprised way, almost like she thought I didn't know it was a womans, so I just said "yes, can I try it on?" She was OK after that, maybe a bit flustered though like she couldn't figure out why I would want to try on a womans top.
I would really say that the vast majority of the time I've been shopping the SA is a little careful at first, until she's figured out whether I'm buying it for myself, whether I'm comfortable talking about it, and whether I want her help or don't want to be noticed. Once it's clear that I'm buying it for myself and don't care whether anyone notices, they seems to be perfectly happy to help.
There have been times when others have said things, but always those people were "just that type". And in that case I can't be offended, rather, I hope I never will be accepted into their catagories. Those comments really say more about them than they say about us.
