I sit here, fully dressed in capries and a white tank top. Makeup and wig too. As many of you know almost 2 years ago I told my wife I was a CDer. At the time she was not happy. Since then we have accidentally come face-to-face with each other and me fully dressed. Since then she has accepted me as a CDer, goes out with me fully dressed, and has joined my Tri-Ess chapter as a SO. Around the 1st of August, she told me I could dress anytime I wanted to. I had three days of vacation to take before I lost them, so I setup three three day weekends. On the first of these weekends, I asked her if I could dress all three days. She said OK. I was a great weekend. I did not dress on the second three day weekend as we went and saw our son and grand daughter. This weekend I have been dressed on Friday and today. I was not dressed yesterday,(Saturday).
I have had more fun going out dressed and having no one bother me. My wife has told me I pass very well and I fully believe her.
At the same time, I think we have gown even closer together and we have been married almost 25 years now. It really feels great not having to hid this side of myself anymore and having my wife support me in it too. She has made suggestions on what to wear out, helped me with my makeup at times, and makes sure I do it right when we are out. LOL Over the last few weeks, My presentation, confidence, and enjoyment has grown by leaps and bounds. I have been having a lot of stress since 2005. First in 2005, I was approaching 60, I got a huge case of Fink Fog, and was out of work too. I found employment and that helped some with the stress. I still worry about the future and hiding my CDing was not helping any. I am still 6-7 years away from retirement, but the future at where I work looks bright and now that I no longer hid my CDing from my wife, I feel like a huge burden has lifted off my shoulders.

JoAnn,
You are so fortunate, and I applaude you. It seems your life has gotten a little easier in your later years. I too have a some what similar situation, in that my S/O knows and supports Diana. Soon when we retire and build our retirement home for the duration, I too will be able to dress as often as I please, full time if that is what I wish. My S/O said she would not mind. She help me a lot and I feel more and more at ease with her in that respect.
