Cold Weather Dressing

This Canadian climate makes dressing a challenge. It is -36 C here this morning so I guess cotton is the thing. My SO wears a lot of cotton lingerie so I will follow suit. I often wear her long underwear over my bra, briefs and pantyhose. Any other suggestions out there?

I have a nice fleece skirt for cold weather. It goes well with my guy fleece vests over a fem top.

Womens hats and gloves should also be fun in cold weather.

My mom used to wear long wool leggings under her skirt in the North Woods winters.

I would think that in weather that cold when you go outside the clothing becomes kind of unisexually insulating.

Body stockings, femme jeans, camis, long sleeved tees. It's all about layering.

leather!!!
When I ride my bike during these winter months, leather seems to make all the difference. Layers also, like panty hose, then cotton sweat pants and leather pants, leather vest, leather jacket and leather gloves and at 60 mph, comfortable!!!!

PS: I might point out that I don't ride when its -38 however [-X

Here in the Atlantic provinces I just usually wear a down parka to compensate for the cold. I do often pair pantyhoses with my outfits, because skirts just aren't very warm when the breeze gets under them.

(By the way, the only difference between my male-mode parka and my girl-mode one is that I wear a matching soviet-russian-army fur hat in guy-mode and a tube-shaped fur-trimmed hand warmer with a little pocket in girl-mode. Accessories DO make all the difference.)

In the cold & wet weather, I try to avoid cotton in favor of fleece, down, and ski clothes. Warm when wet, they say, and it seems to be true.

Yikes !!! , minus 36 degrees C

I have never experienced weather as cold as that but if I did , I would be dressed as an Eskimo . Well a "pretty" one anyway.

The warehouse I work in is not heated in the winter and most of the guys wear their long johns. They are constanly complaining about being uncomfortable and hot. I just smile because I'm both comfortable and warm with my panty hose on. They don't bind my pants or make them too tight because of the thickness.
The silk panties I wear are just for fun :run:

You are so right Tammy! I could be outdoors running a snow blower, or inside troubleshooting an elecrical panel; but pantyhose was the perfect solution to staying comfortable in all situations.

been cold here the last couple of days. So I have worn PH and leggings under my jeans. Much warmer even with the wind blowing. And like Tammy said, not as bulky.
