I recieved a calll from school yesterday. My son Tyler was picked on called names I wil not mention and the principal took this seriously. The two boys whom did this are suspeneded for 5 days and their parents are not too happy about it.The parents of these two boys say the suspension is too harsh.I did confront them and told them my son does not deserve to be picked on because he is a crossdresser. My son is doing great still although my finacee HayleyF and I are by his side for support. The principal knows my son is a crossdresser, has met Kayla his femme side and sees he is a normal 10 year old boy expressing himself.

Wow! Things are changing in this world, when I was 10, electroshock therapy might have been used on any of us that were caught cross dressed. I'm glad your son has you for a mom.

The boys were clearly wrong in their actions, and should have been disciplined. But 5 days is a bit harsh if they were first time offenders.
If it were me, I'd ask the principle to set up a meeting with the other parents to discuss your sons gender expression and the improper actions of their kids. If they agree to such a meeting, then maybe they could get their kids sentence reduced.
Bad things can happen to kids expressing gender variance in school. Nipping the bullying it in the bud before it gets serious is the way forward.

It's good that the kids are being disciplined and that your son is not being victimized by the administration as well.
But lets get real here. These are 10 year olds, a species even crueler and dumber than teenagers. Why in the world is your son letting people know about this? It's hard enough when 10 year olds have to lead the way in helping folks develop tolerance with regards to things like same sex parents, transexual parents, inter racial families, their own physical handicaps, retardation, or even being intersexed. If he is just a crossdresser this was a battle he doesn't have to fight. Why was it important for his classmates to know this?

The 2 boys got very snoopy opening up his bag up and found a dress. The principal did lower it to 2 days after the 2 boy's parents complained about it since it was the first offense. The second offense is a 5 day suspension.

I am glad to hear that the school is taking a stance on the bullying. When I was a kid not that long ago. okay it was 20 years ago I was 10 but I digress. I would have had to explain to the principal why I had a dress with me and would have been sent home as well. I did not express this in your other post but I am glad for you for being supportive of both your soon and fiance. I wish I could find some one like you.

Everything is going great with him.The people that know about his crossdressing are his friends whom he still has.I love my son regardless and know it is not my fault he crossdresses. He does like girls and most of his female friend let him borrow their clothes.
