As I explore who I am in this life, one thing I have noticed is becoming more noticable. That is the lack of ladies of colour. Are any of you aware of mature groups of CDs of colour? I, personally, would like to look into this, and see how many of us are out there. Please let me know if you know where I could look.

This is a topic that has intrigued me for as long as I have been dressing. It does seem to me that the percentage of African American CDs seems to be lower than the percentage of African Americans in the general population. But I could be wrong...

But fear not! We sistas are out there... and we do have decent numbers here in NY.

When you were born you came out looking pink, while I was black.
After some time you changed and became white, I remained black.
When you become embarrassed you turn red, I remain black.
And when you die you turn blue, Yet you people have the audacity to call me colored?

PS. I am white (oops I mean colored) so I think I can get away with this.

I have colour--beige is a colour. -swg- And I'm in shape, 'cause round is a shape--so I got that going for me, too.

based on my unscientific observations I've noticed that in this predominately white area, African-Americans CD/TG seem exceed the relative percentage level, while on the other hand, the hispanic population now exceeds the African-American population for this state yet hispanic TG/CDs are relatively rare here . . .

Are most (let me say) African American CDs in the NY area drag queens or are there many that are ordinary CDs? The few sites I have come across are mostlyl drag queens. I would like to find everyday CDs as well.

And to the other posts, yes we are all coloured, its just hard to find the words that does not offend anyone.
