I have for awhile during the warm days been sitting in a chair on my porch at nights to smoke fully dressed and you cannot really see much of my face and only a vauge outline.
I have though tried for the last month or so going out at early evenings to read a book at the table there dressed but without alot of makeup. this is a big step for me as all that look can see me more clearly.
Well last saturday the lady from the space across from me was out weeding her yard and I saw this and wasn't paying all that much attention but I looked up from my book and she was staring at me! I looked away at my book hoping I was just imaging things. But I looked up a few minutes later and now she and another women were both looking at me.
I just went back to my book and a few minutes later I looked and they were gone so I went into my house and hoped I was just over reacting.
The next day as I left my house (in drab) to go to work they were both there looking at me! I said hello, the first time I had ever spoken to her and she wispered to the other women and they both giggled without either returning my hello. I just got in my car and drove away.
Ohh well I guess. I never spoke with either of them before so no reason to try now.

Every act of kindness is repaid, in some small way some where in the future even if we do not see it at the time. Look at it as a spiritual form of compound interest

Actually, it's amazing how little light it takes. I've done credible self portrait photos late at night with no flash, just by time exposure of 5-30 seconds.
Anyway, people who point and giggle are none of your concern. You are in a higher intellectual class than them anyway. If they speak ill of you, it will come to haunt them. If they speak well of you, you may make new friends. If they continue to watch you so intently, consider a privacy fence, or landscaping.
Whatever you do, please continue to set a good example. CD people get a bad rap because of a very small percentage who are not nice people.

Well, again, I must be the only one with "an attitude." Screw 'em if they can't take a joke. If their name is not on my paycheck, I really don't care what they see or think they see, or wish they could see or think they saw.
If it comes up in a conversation, "it's my twin sister, she is a Navy SEAL home on leave from her current duty station where she was awarded the Navy Cross for killing two nosy instigators." Well maybe they will mind their own business or as Donna said invite "her" over for tea!
